Interesting. So if we guess correctly in the night phase about who the victim is, they don't die, I believe.

Or alternatively somebody has the character of Batman which acts as a 'doctor' role, and they decide who to save.
But how could Batman be lynched?![]()
So was Blackadder saved then, or what?

But then the only possible for candidates for the Riddler role are[the only ones with the veteran's knowledge needed to develop such a clue]:
Visorslash, Seon, Double A.
Visor's the one who immediately brought that to our attention and went for CB's throat, so Vote: Visorslash
Recall anyone else who went wild with a seemingly crucial detail from the writeup, guys?

I don't see how experience/veterancy has anything to do with it - surely you would just have to have some knowledge of the show Blackadder?

Very well, so the list cannot be narrowed in that way. However, Visorslash's alacrity in pointing out said clue and voting for Blackadder is what leads me to suspect him.

It seemed fairly reasonable at the time, seeing as we didn't know the mechanics of the riddles yet. I don't think people should be voted for attempting to aid the town, unless it is clear that they are being deliberately misleading. Unfortunately, with that said I don't have any suspects myself.
What I'm saying, is that I pulled a similar trick in The Island just a fortnight ago.![]()

Visorslash has the guts enough to pull off a trick like that, if he is tricking us, that is.
That being said, I am hesitant to lynch him yet.
Vote: Ishmael.
I am getting this vibe from you. All I have ever heard from you this game is "I don't know, but..." or "Alternatively it could be..." or "Oh hey! That's a good idea!"
Sure sign of a scum if I ever saw one.
So now you are wanting evidence in Day 1.
No, I'm saying that lacking evidence on Day 1 any conclusions drawn will inevitably contain some level of uncertainty.
GASP IT"S MONTY!
Look! His nickname is even Monty! That means Monty Python! That means English Comedy! Somebody get him!
Vote: Ishmael
Seems to me like he's trying to "fit"...
Damn it! I just had a brilliant theory worked out that conclusively proved CB was the Riddler, only to have it fall apart due to one minor detail.
Also, vote: Arjos. Generic reasoning + no evidence + played in 'The Island' and thus should be used to my (admittedly somewhat scummy) posting style by now.
Captain Black could still be scum.
Of course. My original theory was that he claimed he was his intended target when the clue indicating Stacy Baker came up, but then I realised that the clue was pointing to Captain Blackadder specifically. It could still work if a third party protected whoever Stacy is, but then it would be awfully risky for CB to claim to be her (unless there's another mechanic at play that we aren't aware of).

Vote: No Lynch
Give it a couple more phases in my opinion, let the clues build up.
Arkham City: Mini Mafia Game
End of Day One
Tally:
Ishmael: 2 (Seon, Arjos)
Visorslash: 1 (Monty)
Arjos: 1 (Ishmael)
No Lynch: 1 (Visorslash)
Not voting: 2 (Double A, Capt B)
As Batman searched Arkham City for more clues to The Riddler's location, the medical and security staff in the church were getting restless. They argued back and forth over how best to help Batman save the day. Perhaps it was simply fear clouding their judgement, or perhaps Arkham City had affected them more deeply than they knew, but they decided to work out who amongst them was working for The Riddler, and eliminate them. They couldn't agree on a target, but Eddie Burlow was the man who had more than one accuser.
"What, me? This is insane!"
"You took part in the vote, you have to abide by the decision."
Ishmael, aka Eddie Burlow, is now dead and may not communicate with living players, or post in thread.
Batman arrived back, looked at the body, then at the huddled survivors with a mixture of disgust and sympathy. Before he could say anything, a tinny voice erupted from the bell tower.
Batman walked back out, without another look at Officer Burlow, or his executioners.Originally Posted by The Riddler

Try a google search for the line. I get an album (Deception of a ghost), a computer, and movies, etc...
I don't think I'm the target at least.
He was a good man. What a rotten way to go.
No.You answered a riddle about Blackadder Goes Forth?

I hope Batman pulls through then, however he works in this game.

Cute, but scum don't usually get a master list of townie roles.

Who do you think it could be?

No idea, and don't have the Google expertise.

I suspect you to be the Riddler more strongly than ever.
