Batman had left the church to check up on a lead on The Riddler's location, little did he know it was a ruse to get him out of the way. Would the survivors learn from their mistakes?



"Come on, we're doing this again!?"

Batman and The Riddler both knew tonight could be very interesting, who was actually paying attention to the game they were playing?

End of Night Four

"Third time lucky?" thought The Riddler, as he watched his goons creep into the church, through the door his undercover thug had left open. She was dragged through the exit screaming, Riddler was keeping her alive to tease the Bat over his failure.



"Help! Batman! Where are you!?"

The undercover thug smiled to himself as Batman returned a few minutes later. His smile faded as he realised something was wrong, why was he not asking about the missing doctor? The thug quietly turned toward the exit.

Swoosh!

"Where do you think you're going?"

The thug shivered, Batman couldn't know, could he?

Like a flash Batman grabbed him by the throat.

"Riddler, where is he?"

Riddler chuckled to himself, as he imagined Batman's fury at finding another innocent gone. He would play this one out for days, stringing the doctor's agony out to taunt his adversary.

"An head next to the saddle, riding towards my fate"

"I've got your fate right here, Nigma."

Riddler turned in shock to see Batman right behind him. He shouted for his goons, but they were in the land of nod, it was just him and the Bat. Being the smart fellow that he is, he knew it was pointless to fight back, and sunk to his knees in despair, as his nemesis fastened the cuffs.

"You didn't pay attention to the game Nigma. There was only one way you could win, capturing the last innocent was your undoing."

Town win.

This was an experimental game, and I want to thank Arjos for a great performance as The Riddler that just fell short. You're probably wondering why you lost, check your role pm, you had to get Batman lynched. If Seon was lynched at any time you would have won. The killing of Cpt Blackadder meant it was just you and Batman going in to the final round, and let's face it as a one on one fight it's no contest.

The Riddles were either in the day or night phase, a day phase was a clue to the next victim, a night phase was a clue to Arjos' identity. Seon as Batman had a protect ability, which he used to great effect. He knew if he was lynched at any time it was game over, but he also knew what would happen if he and Riddler were the last two players, he asked for clarification on this, so I'm assuming he knew if he didn't protect Cpt B and Cpt B was attacked, he would get the win.

The only other role with an ability was Double A, he had the ability to scan for Batman, not sure why I put that in to be honest, it would have put the game even more in the town's favour. Had he bothered to use it.

Anyway to win I had to lynch him, so couldn't kill him during night no? XD
Had I spared Cpt B, he would've just vote for me...

All in all, this was very fun to play, hoping you can figure out a bigger one ^^

Well, I played this game much the same way I would play a Serial Killer role. If my only weakness was getting lynched, then all I had to do was stay off everyone's radar.

But I had no idea it was you until the very end, Arjos XD.

If you read the write up he didn't actually die, Batman would never do that.

Nice work JHT, I've been reading this since the get-go and found it to be a really fun and different game concept, it would be interesting to see how you'd translate it into a wider player base.

Edward Nigma, you are one of Batman's most cunning adversaries. Each night phase you can select one player to be killed by your minions. You must also leave a clue, in the form of a riddle. This can either be a clue as to your own identity, or to the identity of your next victim. Clues as to the next victim will be posted during the day phase write up, clues as to your indentity will be posted during the night phase write up. All clues must be true.
