    Default Carthage isn't being cooperative...

    I can't win with them !

    - I have all cities mentioned under the "?" (including Sidon and the raid ones),
    - They are identical to the cities under my faction leader victory conditions,

I'm missing something, but what ?
The only discrepancy I can see is, the visual mapping of victory conditions regions, doesn't match the list of cities named above. but I read on the forum that the "?" is the final word.

    Any idea ? Help ? Love ?

Did you activate the script? No reason that would affect anything but its worthwhile checking. If nothing works try sending a screen shot of your empire.

Also, check that factions you need to outlast (rome maybe?) are not still alive.
    Completed Campaigns:
    Macedonia EB 0.81 / Saby'n EB 1.1
    Qart'Hadarst EB 1.2 / Hai EB 1.2
    Current Campiagns:
    Getai/Sauromatae/Baktria
donated by Brennus for attention to detail.

Rome is still alive and well but nowhere does it say It has to be gone for me to claim victory...or I didn't see it (quite possible).

PS: thanx for the quick answer

You are missing Kyrene, and possibly the internal traits for conquering Siga, Lixus and Kirtan (which if memory serves, signify raiding targets). Since you own those raiding targets, they should not be the problem.

The map with conquest targets is off for some factions.

Try and see what happens when you do go with the visual mapping? Shouldn't be too hard, since you only need one more city for that.

    First off - congratulations! :)

I have a question though - how did you manage to lose so many battles?
I always thought I'm terrible when it comes to commanding armies manually but you seem to have lost much more often than I usually do.
Which is especially odd since you played Carthage which has one of the strongest unit selections in EB and is simply unmatched in the west (except Rome perhaps...).

    I'm really puzzled.
Did you play your battles on "very hard" or are all those lost battles sea fights perhaps?

I use my garrison troops to quell the rebels that show up within striking distances. I send them one by one (otherwise cities revolt), then I replenish'em.

I lose those battles 90% of the time (hence the poor record) but each unit gains valuable chevrons without diverting a whole corps/legion/army...

I also do that on barbarian independent cities that are unlikely to fall to any enemy (in Carthage it'd be Siga for exemple). I siege with a single unit, get my ass kicked, go home, replenish, gain experience, siege again. Since those cities don't refit or gain new units they eventually fall.

It's micromanagement and time consuming, but when a "friendly" Ptolemaic army attacks Lepki, it's full of Golden chevrons that have never seen a true battlefield.

I don't play often (thanx Xmas break !!!) and am still figuring things out (cf. posts above...) so it might be completely stupid, what do u think ?

It is certainly not the most time-efficient way of dealing with revolts or conquering new provinces, but to each his own. If you are happy playing that way, that is all that really matters; it certainly allows for some good roleplaying opportunities.
