I know what you mean. Jarema's suicide vote is certainly a last gasp attempt at reaffirming his innocence - it makes no sense for him to do that unless he either A) Is innocent, or B) is damn sure he can look innocent when he dies. I don't like the fact that while I 'know' that it was Jarema attacked me, it may be an ability of a Darkling to make an innocent party look like a beast to night-time explorers. This has already been theorised by a few of you - My guess is you'll have your gut feelings confirmed once Pizza is back online.

From my perspective: (of course, you do not have to believe me) - I am either an innocent gunsmith (that I was told in my pm), or I am some kind of monster (like werewolf or mr Hyde, or possessed person) and I do not know abaut it.

"He's not a man at all, but a beastly creature in disguise. I saw it with my own two eyes!" said LazyMcCrow.

"When did you see Jarema acting inhuman?" Asked Askthepizzaguy.

"Last night, I admit I was out looking for whatever might be threatening us, and I entered Jarema's property without his foreknowledge. Once inside, I saw that he was no longer a man, but a mindless killing machine. He tried to rip me apart and he tried to shoot me dead with his gun! If you go there, you'll see the bullet holes."

"There's only one thing to do here. We must confront Jarema. Grab your weapons, and be careful." said Askthepizzaguy.

They approached the Gunsmith's house, and knocked on the door, but no one answered. They knocked again and waited, but there was no response. They kicked the door in, and searched the property, but he was not there. The inside of the house looked like it had been hit by a tornado... everything was smashed and the furniture was in disarray. Strangely, objects were embedded to the ceiling. They found that the silverware had been stretched and bent into incomprehensible shapes, and stuck to the various firearms that hung from the wall, as if they were magnetized. The mirrors in the house were shattered, and the shards were cloudy and held no reflection. Without warning, they all heard the sound of heavy footsteps charging up the stairs from the basement, and the door slammed shut on its own.

"Jarema???" they called out.

"Pale bags of bloody bile. Mindless cursed meat!"

They looked up, and saw Jarema laying on the ceiling, blood dripping from his mouth. His eyes were rolled back into his skull, showing only white.

"Why have you tried to murder LazyMcCrow?" said one of the brave townsfolk.

Jarema gasped, and then vomited a gallon of blood down onto the middle of the floor. He sat, upside-down on the ceiling, and twisted his features into a perverse grin. Askthepizzaguy stepped forward, holding a cross in his hands. "In the name of the Holy Father, go back to where you came from!"



"I fornicate with your mother in the depths of Sheol, putrid goatling!"


Jarema opened his mouth, and he began coughing violently. A tiny object dropped to the ground... it was a bloody finger.

"What in the name of the Almighty...." said LazyMcCrow. "Whose finger is this?"





"This little piggy went to abattoir.... this little piggy got slaughtered."

Jarema spit out another bloodied finger, and then two more.

"This little piggy was devoured alive... this little piggy drank blood."

Jarema held up his hand, and there was only a thumb remaining. The other fingers had been chewed off.

"And this little piggy screamed and screamed and screamed all the way to Hell!"

Jarema bit down violently on his thumb, tearing it from the bloodied stump that was his hand. Blood spurted everywhere, as the crowd let out a horrified shriek.

Askthepizzaguy grabbed a shotgun from the wall and aimed it at Jarema, and fired. The gunsmith was knocked off of the ceiling and blasted into a corner. The rest of the furniture and objects in the room also hurtled themselves into the corner, burying Jarema underneath.








"Make sure it is dead." said the Magistrate.





As they approached the pile of debris, it began to move. Suddenly, all the various objects flew up at the ceiling, and a foaming, snarling Jarema began staggering forward, with a massive wound in his chest.


"When you die, maggots, you will experience horrors you cannot begin to imagine. You will see things that cannot be unseen. If I were you, I'd do this...."

Jarema used his remaining hand to claw out his own eyes, and tossed them on the floor. He then stomped on them with his heavy boots, crushing them. Black bile began oozing out of his empty sockets.



Askthepizzaguy fired the shotgun again, this time blowing Jarema's head clean off of his shoulders. The body collapsed in a heap, and continued to twich and struggle for several more minutes. The braver of the townsfolk began stabbing the corpse, hacking off its limbs, and making sure no further harm would come to anyone.

Jarema was slain.

The Darkling was definitely possessing Jarema when we killed him, but we have no proof that the Darkling itself is dead. Now that it's been seen, he might just decide to screw with us and possess everybody we decide to kill, guilty or not.

"Is everyone present and accounted for?" asked the priest.

It seemed so. However, not everyone was well. Chaotix stood up, complaining that his skin felt like it was burning. A doctor rushed to his aid, and soon determined that Chaotix' skin was erupting with painful sores and boils, and it was getting worse.

"Oh my God, it hurts... it hurts! Make it stop! MAKE IT STOP!!!" screamed Chaotix.

Chaotix fell to the floor of the church, writhing in pain. But he was not alone.

atheotes watched Chaotix in horror, and then began panicking. It seemed his own skin was also transforming, until the eruptions covered his entire body. He howled in agony, and pleaded to be put to a swift and merciful death.

"Please.... don't force me to endure any more!" shouted atheotes, as the skin melted from his face.

Most of panicked townsfolk took to the aisles and fled from the church, leaving only a few concerned citizens to aid them.

Why would you do that? Shouldn't you vote for somebody who could potentially be scum? Otherwise, it's just equivalent to an abstain vote (cue Montmorency extolling the virtues of abstinence ).

So you know for certain who is scum? If we can't find a scum it's better to vote for someone that might die of "natural" causes rather than a random townie.
