    Yarrr.

Basically what he's saying is that he's more valuable than ye are, from common stock, Captain.

Not all of us are able seamen. Well, I am. That's why risking the consequences of mutiny is fine by me.

And if you're really so damned important, Visorslash, work with the confirmed town Captain, for god's sake. Your cooperation could help clear a lot of things up.

He gets it. I get it.

He's saying he's carrying more in his sheath than your average sword. He's saying his leg isn't just made of peg. He's sayin his bandana covers up a cape.

He's no ordinary pirate! He's the pirate hero we need, but not the one we deserve.

Now, the same consequences can come about IF I can be certain that protection succeeds on him every night.

    EVERY night.

If that be the case, ye can keep yer Captain's chair, Captain. With my no longer mutinous blessing.

I need Visorslash's cooperation, or I will come after him, because he's acting suspiciously.

Alright fine. I won't try to bullship you.

I'm still gonna try to have your head eventually, I suppose. But someone would, Captain. It's not gonna be me, perhaps, but someone will. Seems unlikely I'll be the one succeeding in it. But someone will.

You shouldn't have tried to become Captain with so much gold, matey. Put someone dirt poor in as Captain, it makes mutiny less likely.

No, you're not. Send me a PM detailing what you have done to deserve life, and what you will do to continue deserving life, instead of this pointless posturing.

A rich Captain can offer monetary incentives to a large group of players, which I have done.

Really, what is your ulterior motive for being a condescending buttface? I'm genuinely puzzled at your strategy here.

It seems we have similar opinions. I sent you the PM.

Condescending buttface is quite similar to ass.

No. I don't order kills/lynches on people I think are town.

And for the record, one of these people should be lynched today:

    a completely inoffensive name
    autolycus
    Buddhafish
    Captain Blackadder
    edse
    johnhughthom
    Jolt
    Kagemusha
    Kaiser Friedrich III
    Lyra
    Memnon
    Thermal

I only disagree with two people on that list being killed. One should be strongly cleared already and the other simply because they work for gold like good honest untrustworthy pirates do.

Unless we want to start lynching lurkers, Memnon/AA/ACIN/Buddha/edse are probably decent targets.

Taking JHT off the list would also be a good idea.

    I support edse's lynch obviously.

I'll float the names Memnon and Buddha because I can't read them and don't know what they've been up to. If someone else does, fine.

I'm personally leading towards Memnon because of this:

Why not steal or protect your gold?
I wasn't sure that was an option...
But I thought you checked the rules to check if sleep was an option?
Yes, but I only checked for sleep, this might sound a bit suspicious, but seriously, I am a scrub at this.

    I'd switch it up, then.

Here's why I originally mentioned Memnon-

    1) Threat to Visorslash
    2) The wording of this particular post. Recounting the events of the evening as if we didn't already know
    3) "Not killing scum nearly every night" indicates possible ACTUAL perfect information syndrome as opposed to what Andres was yammering about.
    4) Too eager to work with the established order "even if it includes me".

I admit it. I am working for a mutiny, and I love gold. The look of it, the shmell of it. The texture.

I love gold so much, I even lost my golden genitalia in an unfortunate smelting accident and was given the nickname diamond junk.

They're still gold but they have diamonds on it now. Very sparkly.

All right, so you caught me. I'm a greedy bastard.

Is that all you have for me Captain, or do you HONESTLY see me as scum? Because you knew better when you, spontaneously, decided to protect me when I asked ZERO people in this game to protect me the last two nights as I taunted Andres to no end.

Maybe I'm too reckless for my own good, but you're seriously off your nuts and bolts if you think I'm scum Tincow.

What did I tell you? You wouldn't have seen this kind of guff from me, Captain. You would have found me to be a most sequacious underling, having been brought into line.

Any particular reason for lynching Buddha before Edse, or is it just nice to have an order?

Anyway, vote: Memnon. That's the second-most scummy PM conversation I've seen in a Pirate Ship game.

A commander needs competent subordinates who will execute his orders faithfully, whatever their misgivings.

One can not expect a self-serving crew of hooligans and brutes to accomplish the great tasks set before them.

You're all letting ATPG lead you around by the nose. Lynch him now, deal with other suspects later. ATPG will always manage to get himself protection at night, he's good with that kind of thing. Never pass up an opportunity to get rid of him the old fashioned way.
