DAY 4
They decided they would be investigating the source of the radiation rather than heading into Coldenskian territory. Jolt, deemed most likely to be an agent of the Union, was decided as the advance scout for the day.
The workers marched north for most of the day before they came across something interesting.
That something was what appeared to be a massive extraterrestrial spacecraft. It was definitely the source of the radiation. It was filled with many hull breaches and in most places the siding was rusted and wearing away. However, some writing in very large, red letters could be seen on the side of the ship.
Most of the word had been obscured, but on one end the letters “GAL” were visible, and on the other end, “TZPAH”. Whatever could have been painted in between was a mystery. What was most striking was that the writing was in English, whereas the craft of the ship looked like nothing that was made on Earth – or at least, nothing that could be made since the dismantling of the space program.
Surrounding the spacecraft was what appeared to be a series of metal fence posts, but there was no fence in between.
“Jolt, go examine those posts.”
“No way, man. I’m not going anywhere near that thing!”
“Go, or I’ll have to consider you a traitor. And you know what happens to traitors.”
There was no arguing with the Foreman. Jolt took a deep breath, and started out toward the nearest fence post. He had a really bad feeling about this. The spaceship seemed somehow familiar to him – and not in a good way. Maybe in a past life this spaceship had caused him a lot of trouble or something. But that was nonsense. Jolt didn’t believe in that reincarnation crap. That hadn’t been a legal religion since some scientist had found a way to actually reincarnate people using stem cells and brain transplants. That was highly illegal.
But when he walked up to the nearest post, he was not surprised when it began to spray rapidly condensing supercooled gas particles at him. And it was somehow familiar being frozen solid indefinitely. But for the life of him, Jolt still couldn’t fathom why.

Choxorn - Should've said he was a witch.
Zack - Will probably be reincarnated as a Space Whale.
The King - Is probably wishing he was still called Ibn Khaldun.
Darth Feather - Never liked licorice much anyway.
Montmorency - Is probably medium-rare right about now.
Makrell - Is in sweet, sweet heaven.
TinCow - Shouldn't have lost his head in that argument.
Arjos - He may be dead, but his legacy lives on...
Ishmael - Is between a rock and a hot place. Actually, he is between two hot molten rocks. Or actually it could be three.
Double A - Swam in so much sugar he got the bends.
Jolt - Has been put on ice.

This phase will be roughly 48 hours, because I won't have time to do a write-up tomorrow.
