After 255 turns Armageddon Quest playing with the Geothe and staying in Tanais I was surprised that Rome became the dominant faction. Looking in there armies I found the reason was a lot of Field trap belts. Dispite the fact the libyan amazones had all the advanced units they don't stand a chance against these roman armies.
Thyssa amazons still don't have a city after 255 turns!
Lybian amazons don't become enough resistance from neither egypt or carthage. They where the main faction till the romans started building the field trap belts.
For some reason the AI never attacks Meroe
In these settings the AI creates only 3-4 strong opponents: Libyan and thermodon amazons, rome and armens.
Thyssa lacks a city (I read somewhere they had a very large city with a huge wooden wall) and there population won't grow fast enough.

Maybe we can create a quest campaign where the Lybian starts hording in Iberia. They probably will meet the romans in an early stage and thiss will change the ballance in western europe. In these setting I am sure the Thermodon amazons will become the main faction so maybe there Quest city's should move further away.

For now I would say give Thyssa 1 big starting city and decrease the power of the libyan amazons by a smaller horde army or start with a large town in africa instead of hording.
