So, ladies and gentlemen, there's some kind of religious and/or secular holiday creeping up on us shortly which will result in many of you, I dunno, spending time with something called a "family", and/or walking in a winter wonderland, and/or dashing through the snow in a one-horse open sleigh (which is fine, if you don't have the new convertible sleighs which have power roofs and seat warmers).

You people and your strange cultural fads.

As a result of the aforementioned holiday (HERMERGERD HE'S NOT SAYING IT) which people will be celebrating, the game will be on hiatus for a few days afterward. We will begin again on the 28th.

This way you don't have to stress over late/missing orders until a time conveniently a few days before you get utterly smashed on New Year's Eve.

No penalty, but if everyone gets their orders in, I can work on resolving the round a few hours each day, and it will be done when my mini vaca is over, as opposed to me just getting started.

I too apologize for my delay in orders. The "holidays" as aforementioned by our all-powerful host certainly reduced my virtual activities entirely.

Okay, I hope everyone enjoyed their long wintery nap. It will soon be time to wake up and smell the blood, death, and zombies.

Hopefully, most of you survived all the way to 2014. But El Gigante is hungry and wants to crush things. So perhaps a nice compromise is in order.

So despite my request from about two months ago that I get 4 days on, 3 days off, per week, they've given me 5 straight days of work after several this week, with one day off in the middle.

That's not going to be enough time to resolve the round. I requested to switch with someone but my request will probably fall on deaf ears.

What I'll do is try to reach the midway point tomorrow, and then, spend about 3-4 hours after every shift knocking out the rest.

What's particularly inconvenient is that then lines up my days off with days you guys have to get your orders in. It's completely backwards. My days off should be resolving phases, my days on should be you sending in your orders. This can't be how it goes because then you won't have enough time for your end, and I'll never have enough time for my end. So I'll keep everyone posted, and as soon as possible, I'll get it reversed back to where it needs to be.
