That's why I hate everyone who does not follow a philosophy that restricts all moral actions to breathing, sleeping and eating as long as the food just happened to be nearby without any action taken by you to kill any plants or animals.

It seems to me like EasternSpartakus' argument is that the abuse of women is explicitly proscribed by Islam, therefore Islam is not being abused by extremists, but rather moderates are contradicting themselves by saying they believe in Islam and then failing to follow the precepts they don't like.

I've seen the very same argument levied against Christianity and religion in general by Atheists here and elsewhere.
