I live in Scotland so I never see immigrants. Outside of Glasgow you'll hardly ever come across any. Kadagar should move here if he thinks Sweden's gone to pot.

The wall was way south, so perhaps only the tale of it kept the Scottish were they are.

Not sure it will work. Sometimes asking for a cigarette is only a pretext. They may do it even if one isn't smoking.

I honestly think giving them a smoke diminishes the chance of being attacked....

With that said, I am not comfortable with having to pay some sort of "side walk toll" to immigrant gangs, and I am prepared to stand my ground and face the consequences.

But then I am 1,87 tall and am rather well built, and have trained martial arts. My advice generally would be to "bend" for ones own safety... As Frags say, if you get robbed just give them your items, it''s not worth it. In this case however, there were no weapons visible and I knew I had a 47kg wolfie behind the corner on my command.

These attacks are about humiliating mostly. I expect Kads to be a very handsome guy, you won't become a ski-instructor if you aren't goodlooking. That is probably why they picked him. It isn't about money, it are basicly racist attacks.

My immigrant friends have said the same, as to why I often get into problems... I dress well, have a straight back, and walk around naturally in any surroundings I am in... For ghetto gangstas, that is like a magnet for hate...

Glad to hear things went well for you this time. But as has been said I always was told if someone asks you for a light or some small change, its maybe a trick so they can catch you off your guard and see where you keep your wallet or whatever.

Having a dog has changed my life SO much... Not only do I have a constant bodyguard, he also changed the world around me... It's hard to explain in a short way, but people INTERACT quite differently with you when you have a big wolf by your side... I mean like people next to you on the subway who are suddenly all smiling, children walking up to you, people throwing a "Nice dog!!" and a big smile as you pass...

I only regret not getting a wolfie earlier!!

*and yeah, in this situation he probably saved my cute little behind too, so that's a plus*
