I only need an 82 on my statistics final exam to get an A in the class. I have never gotten an A in any math class ever in my life so this is all very exciting!

and statistics isn't math: it relies on math, but saying it is is like saying Physics is a type of math.

Statistics considers the study of data (collection, study proper, analysis, etc).
