Anyways, I'm starting to wonder if I didn't psych myself out on Fox. My initial gut still says he's too brazen to be mafia. But, then again, I've always said that the best way to play scum roles is to do that which the gut wouldn't believe. Another part of me wants to lynch him just to hopefully reduce the postcount a bit so I don't have so much catching up to do after work. But mostly, now I'm really not liking this flip flopping on your potential role. To reiterate Barto: Are you a vig, or are you not? That claim towards the end of the round... as I said earlier, brazen, especially with possible mafia buds to bus you. But, if you're neutral/independent, then that makes a lot more sense. Screw it,

The bolded part is really bizarre to me. It almost looks like you're saying: my intuition tells me he's town, but if he was a really good wolf my intuition would be wrong, so I'm going to vote for him? Is that accurate? If so this is a new and exciting level of paranoia.

Other notes: yeah sorry to say it, folks who aren't too familiar with, but I'm just seeing monty here. Now that doesn't mean too much, Monty's quite consistent in his own inconsistent way, if that makes any sense. Not a preferred target to lynch.

I'll tell you why I'm still harping on Monty: even if this is his normal style, I think it's a style that works well for wolf play and not for town. I still don't know if I could accurately state his opinion on any other player right now. Like it seemed like he thought Winston was scum, or El Barto voters maybe? But he approached it in the language of hypotheticals and generalities, which is so convenient as a wolf because later on he can wriggle out of any accusations based on his opinions. And when confronted on it, the best he can give in response is an OMGUS vote against me? Like, my concern could be nonsense but if it is that's not clearly evident because myself and other players obviously don't see the logical problems with it. So then a helpful response is to refute it so I can right my thinking and focus on better targets. Or maybe my concern is valid, in which case, while I'll acknowledge that you're entitled to play according to your style, you couldn't just oblige me and commit to an accusation?

Ok, but isn't the whole point to suss out the wolves, i.e. to figure out people's alignments? So every stance that's not aiming to figure out someone's alignment is kind of irrelevant, unless it's part of a greater case that does take a stance on someone's alignment.

So I guess my question is how do the factual commitments you have made contribute to town's ability to figure out who the wolves are?
