Ok, potential reads list based off of random D1 stuff that is sure to be irrelevant, but lists like this are good for history, so I might as well post one. Both GH and El seem more forceful than usual, for El that might be a result of his recent success with playing the game properly, but for GH I have no clue. I hesitate to clear or condemn GH for this however, as it is different to both his mafia and town games. Could be a town picking up on minor things to try and get the game started, or a mafia trying to push a mislynch on a player who historically (at least for my brief history here) has been difficult to lynch. Renata and Wytch are very bubbly, and could be mafia trying to look like town by joining in on standard town D1 insanity a little too hard, but given that I haven't played with either of them before I would appreciate someone talking about what their meta looks like before I make any more defined reads on them. Monty reads mafia to me as usual, and Zach is looking like a very similar kind of mafia to me ATM. I was wrong on both of them last game so these reads should not be completely trusted. So yeah, that's my standard stream of consciousness reads, everyone else is null so far.

Overall this post seems not so good, the "Could be a town picking up on minor things to try and get the game started, or a mafia trying to push a mislynch on a player who historically has been difficult to lynch" seems very self-aware about your meta overall (outside this game), but not self aware about your actual posting this game and doesn't actually say anything substantive.

The quoted part is a reference to his recent successful town tracker play on MU. As for the rest, sorry, but it is just how I play. I do really poorly with little evidence, and am hesitant to make strong cases early on in the game. In fact, in general I tend to make lots of wishy-washy cases, and always present both sides of every argument. This is done because I have an irrational fear of tunneling, and tend to keep listening to people even if I think they are mafia, so presenting both sides of an argument to force myself to consider alternate views on things is just part of it. Generally my evaluation as to which possibility is more likely comes later. So yeah, not going to apologise for not being firm, because as much as I wish I could improve in that regard right now this is just how I play the game. If it's any consolation, you have earned a couple of town points for questioning people.

I didn't read much of that game other than the flips, so I am not particularly sure how he did, but the town won in final 3 so someone did something right presumably.

@Visorslash, if nothing changes right now the lynch is Riedquat. If I flip back to dp101 and no one else moves I think it's tied, but I haven't counted for myself and don't intend to.

See, here's the thing. Dp is if anything even more scummy to me on re-read. I'm aware of confirmation bias, but still. His reads are, as you say, limp; his posting comes off as exceedingly self-conscious in places, etc.

Riedquat's just your garden variety shitposter with the possible exception of that one post feeling a little off with its 'prodding' of the day's main attraction. There's no real read here; there's no there there.

Okok, but I don't know him (much), so what I read is not towny in my experience for ~most people, and I watched every town shit the bed hard in the last two games so I am hesitant to trust your meta reads on each other as far as I can presumably throw them.

Sure. I agree with GH that you are tonally off this game. The later posts seem better tonally but the way you started was a forced. Not impressed with your reads either. It seems like you are trying hard to mimick your town game.

Zack could be wolf with you or he is a wolf trying to pocket you early. Zack always looks scummy to me. So will have to wait and see.
