Somebody somewhere drew attention to a possible inconsistency in monstr's reads, and I can't find that post again and it's driving me nuts. I could iso Monstr and try that way, but 100+ posts.

OK, finally got done reading up on monstrbro. He's got pretty impressive tone and flow. I didn't find the reads inconsistency that I remember someone mentioning; he's good in that regard.

The only single post I had a problem with is 476, where he says it sucks when your biggest wolfread (Monty) has two of the biggest town reads (cass and dp) as his own town reads. This strikes me as possible wolf concerned about consistency -- I don't understand the concern otherwise especially when the reads are so consensus -- but it's not much.

If Monstro is wolf and has a flaw, it's in his lack of confidence on non-town reads compared to his town ones. He's very back and forth on sooh but seems to be leaning town until visor makes his iso-spam, at which point he votes her. As soon as Sooh shows up and starts to AtE he's right back to probably villagery. His other scum read, Monty, is not engaged with much and his latest statement where monty's attack on visor is wolfy but his persistence almost villagery doesn't say much. Keeps talking about possibility the wolves are all in the low posters. To his credit, post 666 criticizing Monty for jumping the gun on sooh's lynch does seem indicative of some ongoing (and hence real) suspicion.

Compare with literally all of his town reads, which are either stated outright as "this is villagery" or progress from minor discomfort to totally villagery in pretty short order (like with winston). I don't know, could be a scum with issues contriving cases.

tl;dr: I could see him as wolf.

I'm not up with Monstr's ISO here but ITT the back and forth on Sooh and #467 stood out to me as possible future space for backtracking, not sure if that's what you mean by consistency?

As far as I know, TownMonstr is always stronger on his Town reads, and tends to interact more with them especially early on.

He's a very good player as either alignment, but in my experience with him more motivated as Town/doesn't like playing Scum.

A couple of the questions he asked here I think showed inquisitive thought process that I could follow/don't hate.
I've noticed a tonal similarity in the scum game to here that could be something or just general personality. Waiting for more.

I'm not sure which of you is going to wind up as rep. As your loyal constituent (whichever of you it is), please consider lynching choxorn with extreme prejudice. However, as it looks like Visor is going to have half the vote and will be lynching Cuthilius, you may also wish to consider merely giving in and letting him have his way for the sake of legislative comity and also later ammo to use against Visor if he's wrong and it ever seems warranted. Thank you, and please pass a measure to fix the potholes on my street. They're getting ridiculous.

This about Sooh from someone who just trotted out a patronizing post about how she should always share her thoughts if she thinks she's about to be mislynched, because then at least we can trust they come from a town perspective. No progression. It's just words.
