Why? Winston was clearly joking around, Zack tried to assign a read to it, Winston reacted calmly and in a town way. Both are clearly towny after that.

If Zack's a wolf, then Winston's right -- easy inconsistency to make look not-towny. I've even been caught out on something similar myself recently, though it wasn't wolves who initially drew attention to it.

I don't find Winston's reaction as towny as you do; I voted him because of the reaction.

Right now I'm working through whether a wolf Winston would have openly called me tense or would have been running to scum chat yelling about me being an obvious power role instead, sort of thing.

Yeah, not got much more on the second read.

My gut likes Monty, which is unusual.

I'm feeling a certain sense of tension in Renata.

Snerk's effort levels would seem scummy for him, but he's also hung a massive lampshade on it.

GH gives townie vibes, which means he's making an effort if scum.

On you, it's simply that I see a townie mind at work. The process is coherent and plausible. That it's not beyond you to fake it is a qualifier, but only a weak one. (I can give more specifics if you want, but it's very time consuming, and I'd rather focus my energies on people I'm not yet townreading.)

On Renata, she started the game posting in what looks, superficially at least, like a relaxed manner. But as I was reading it there was something gnawing at me. Sentence structure, punctuation, word choices might be part of this. A little conservative, perhaps? Or maybe it's the things she engaged with, and how she engaged with them - it's all jokey and nice, with not much in the way of provocation. OMGUS on Monty seems more defusing than engaging. Snerk vote is reasonable-but-easy, and reaction to his OMGUS is a brush off. Early reads list and explanation are reasonable, but again lack for provocation. Vote on Al follows suit. It's got a bit better as time has gone on, but you'd expect that either way.

Of course, that's pretty much the least charitable read I could give to what Renata has posted. Bottom line is it's a gut reaction that I'm justifying because you asked, rather than any kind of considered case for pushing her towards the noose.
