In fact, except for one anomaly, black police officers fired their weapons less no matter the racial composition of the neighborhood during the course of answering those 1.2 million 9-1-1 calls.....Based on information from more than two million 911 calls in two US cities, he concluded that white officers dispatched to Black neighbourhoods fired their guns five times as often as Black officers dispatched for similar calls to the same neighbourhoods.
Statistical studies about racial differences for police officers in the use of force are out there, I'm sure. But they are damn hard to find, and I've no patience to spend hours digging![]()
