last game i played here, pizza tunneled me for the majority of the time he was alive because i was hedging, and then he desperadod into me on day 2 and died because i was town

i'm sincerely hoping that everyone else who was in that game learned something from that lol

I'm realizing I asked my question poorly, but idk how to ask the question I was trying to ask WELL

maybe I'll just explain what I was trying to do

basically, the fact you called Robyn's townreads a stretch made me wonder if you were saying that because you thought Robyn was forcing reads in RVS as a wolf, or because you were trying to prevent early (good) reads from a villager taking hold

the way in which you called Robyn's reads a stretch made me suspicious because I thought it was tonally wolfy, but since my tonal reads are terrible, I didn't want to rely on that, so I asked a question about your comment

the problem is that I asked the question in such a way that your answer doesn't really help me determine what you were motivated by, lol. gut instinct on your initial post is still "wolf," your response could come from both alignments

i didn't think robyn saying their previous reads were fake was wolfy in this context, so illario calling it wolfy was suspicious to me, and looking back on his reads i feel like he gave too many but that line of reasoning is kinda stupid

the former is only wolfy if robyn is indeed town, it's actually towny if robyn's mafia and i'm wrong, but i currently think i'm right

there was that MU game with two vigs a while ago where rask was killed day 1 and flipped mafia

i feel like his posting rn is similar to that game but i'd need some comments on this from other players, there are some people here who were in that game

i kind of like this take but im not fully there. i have a hard time reading illario though

That's mostly based on how much he went Commander Visor as wolf in our last game though, but I think that he has an easier time to fake that than the Less Wim - Town Edition Visor he seems to be right now.

the illario read really boils down to him finding robyn's think about faking their reads wolfy because i really don't think it's wolfy in context and it's the sort of thing wolves would latch onto fmpov

Normally I read Achro's posts and I'm like "Not sure I agree with it but it's a post."

This game I just don't read Achro's posts.

the post from lapras i found tonally wolfy was this one

the last line seems a bit tacked on, like the type of fake deeper thought that wolves seem to enjoy tossing in every now and then
and the first two lines just seem more dismissive than they should be? in a sort of patronizing way as i interpreted it

knowing it's dz i think he is ever so slightly in town meta but it's very very light so far

i was prodding him for information and had to mull over his responses which is why i stopped asking more questions

ultimately i'm not super satisfied with them. i think his approach to robyn is a bit hands-off here and he doesn't seem like he's actually trying to read robyn (particularly shown by him not questioning their apparent misinterpretation of how he plays). he says that there are games where he doesn't make himself very findable as town but robyn doesn't know them so their stance is fine, however i feel like him not asking any questions about it at all is still lacking in inquisitiveness. he has a fair few light reads, but he doesn't really seem to be investigating anything and he seems rather hands-off.

i don't really think this makes him lock mafia and i think he can play like this as town, but i'm expecting him to dig his heels in and myself to start thinking he's town at some point if he's actually town, which hasn't happened yet

the way this read on syn came about for you probably makes you town and the two of you are likely not w/w by extension of the same reasoning so that's nice
