I wish I were joking but I keep thinking I suspect someone they post and I go hrm never mind they might be town. I don’t have any strong scum reads so I need to revisit. I’m writing someone off as town that I shouldn’t be, so I need to review my blind spots. It sucks when this happens but things haven’t clicked into place yet.

I keep seeing this from Sui and while I'll admit I don't know them and this could be a meta thing...

I just can't get over how much I feel like this feels like a wolf making excuses. "I don't scumread anyone!" is a line I've seen a lot to avoid stepping on toes.

And it's okay on D1 if it does happen. Tbh I have straight had D1s where I don't feel like anyone has come out as scum to me. But to be this far into D2 with contentious back and forths and not having any solid scumreads feels like appeasement play.

yeah I had the same reaction to it at first read. But then Ladd posted it was villagery and I actually agree. Like a lot of wolves would second guess themselves before posting that. just going to post my thoughts as bullet points rather than addressing individual points

- cape's entry is fine, i was initially weirded out by him immediately re-reading people but it became aparent he was just throwing isos on everyone, kind of felt like busywork at first but decided i was okay with it as it went on and seemed more like him trying to orient himself within the game rather than hunting for positioning

- i don't think taffy makes a claim like that as mafia, syn is bizarre but also dont think mafia is likely to fakeclaim vig

- don't think lack of investment is a good reason to clear wisdom as syn suggests

- not sure visor's reasoning in #400 is great, i have seen scum go all in on trying to save a partner day 1 in the hope the risky play works, and if he hadn't voted monty there his progression would have been suspect. this is especially true if the other partner is potentially not around to do much - losing a teammate there might put him in the hole irrevocably. as it is it feels like the POE is pretty narrow to me and i have less reason to claer ender than other people

- rask's re-entry doesn't really do anything for me

- ender's page 15 doesn't really feel that scummy to me, idk. it does feel kind of like there's some town entitlement to how he was reacting to pressure
