i thought wisdom's read on rask was a bit forced but then i went back to re read pg.2 and i can def see why a villager would think waza/rask look w/w, their convo was pretty softball stuff

wisdom v reads on ender/hally also look bit early to me but i know wisdom well enuf that's probably just a playstyle thing and I think I like their (wisdom's) general posting and observation on waza/rask to have them as a v lean


never been good at reading cape but if waza says lock v i am willing to sheep it for now

random thoughts:

- i kinda see what the people who are struggling to get a town read on waza are saying, but i think it could be because he only knows how to play at 100 mph so his posts feel out of flow/forced in such a slow thread anyway, waza is probably not someone to worry about D1

- taffy floating waza/vaimes being w/w was a villagery thought

- also liked wisdom thinking the waza/rask interaction were weird. specifically, i’m not sure why rask cared to ask waza what his thoughts on wisdom were after she had only made one post. but then i kinda got suckered by rask saying i was gonna RWSTFO lol. TBD

- vaimes seems good. even this post that i’m quoting seems villagery because i was also thinking to myself if the game could be as ez as all these guys being villagers. and just generally get “this guy is a villager and he knows it” vibes. dunno vaimes meta at all but yeah.

- the passing line from cape where he was like “i keep feeling like waza’s posts are strange even though i town read him” struck me as villagery because it kinda sums up my thoughts on waza too and doesn’t feel like something a wolf would bother to say

- the thing i thought the most about is ladd town reading waza so fast and then waza town reading ladd back for town reading him and doing nothing else. BUT i recall ladd getting pushed in the past for town reading zack too fast because he’s more yolo with town reading strong players early, so he could be a villager doing that again. and waza could just be getting pocketed by that regardless of ladd’s alignment. so it could be nothing on both sides. or maybe ladd is a wolf pocketing waza. or maybe they’re w/w

nah it's not for conversation sake Wisdom.

It's me realising I handed that townread to waza way too fast. I thought #24 and #28 were too convoluted and lacked selfawareness to come from a wolf and then I liked how they townread Vaimes, because I actually nodded along (basically Vaimes push wasn't agenda driven). But then I realised none of these things were actually AI for whoever is actually a decent wolf.

Then I noticed the difference of treatment between Syn and you. Then I thought back at what he liked in my post about Syn/Cape (I was pinged by the number of i) and all these things gave me the feeling waza was maybe just TMIing these.

Not going to call waza lock wolf aorn but one in waza/Cape wouldn't surprise me. here is where my head is at rn.

i struggled as a wolf for YEARS bc i always played with the same group of people and they could always read me really well. i can't lie long-term for shit. if i'm wolfing in a game full of strangers, it's a 50/50 whether i'll completely sweep everyone or get found out day 1 bc someone with a lot of threadpull tunneled me for having a wolfy response to a memepost or some undefendable shi like that

Cape posting tips about ISOing here lol. I am not sure I like how he inserted himself in the convo between Vaimes and you either (post #26), but that's mostly a vibe rn.

Look, the ISO thing may be silly, but I use it for future days often and think it's helpful to bring up to players unfamiliar with the site since it's so obscure. I find that waza is a pretty serious mafia player generally, so he might want to know for future reference, like I would have wanted for myself. My whole thing is we have to work together if we are town and I don't care if that includes "pocketing" or "coaching" or whatever.

Also I budded in to the convo between Vaimes and waza to solve the slots, also because I was there and bored, nothing else was going on. I thought waza misrepresenting something that was pretty obvious was strange and possibly pushing the Vaimes vote thing in bad faith so I wanted to try to see where waza was coming from with said post towards Vaimes.

The Syn stuff got a good laugh out of me though, you are funny

kinda thought your previous post was scummy because i wasnt seeing the pocket angle you mentioned at first, and in my head i was waiting for a wolf to eventually call me and vaimes exchange as v/v (villas can too! but wolves like to latch onto that stuff sometimes as well)

BUT im a sucker for you being pinged by the extra i's in Hi lol, its something ive usually noticed as a villa too but i cant remember ever making that type of read as a wolf. I do agree the extra I's feel a bit weird lol, and maybe syn not having any thoughts on two of his scumreads after they had a big exchange with each other is also a little odd ig. BUT (again) i kinda thought him calling visor lock town for a shitpost was kinda towny since i think wolves tend to avoid making those kinda reads (if it was a serious read, if this is another case of me reading into an rvs post that meant nothing then ignore it)

What makes you SR rask's answer here? Also didn't I basically do the bolded?

I do not know if Syn not saying anything in #40 necessarily means that he had nothing to say about the exchange between you/Vaimes.

Also hint: saying "hiiii" is not scummy lol. I don't vibe with calling Syn town for calling Visor town over that though

I'm sleep and energy deprived from a lot of travels the last few weeks + had my once-every-five-year big birthday party yesterday. I'm exhausted but still really hyped by this game!

A few notes in case I pass out:
- Syn town for now but we'll see, I have a bad track record on him
- Ender town, good vibes
- I can see why ladd would be town but not locking it
- Rask wolf (yes)
- Dunno about Waza, I really struggle on that one, but I get w/w vibes from his interactions with Rask, so
- Don't know about Vaimes' alignment but I really look forward to playing with him
