amusingly, my first instinct here is to say "hally should know better than to call something like this wolfy perspective from me because i talk like that all the time", but having thought it through overnight that's pretty unfair from me.

Especially because, in hindsight, i know ive recieved questionmarks about this sort of thing pretty commonly and recently too.

To answer your question: you know that thing I do where I lock someone into a conversation that goes in circles for like 2 hours over something that isn't even particularly wolfy but is generally some sort of logical misstep? im talking about that, hally. i like pushing people. i like trolling people. i like getting the entire game wound up about some stupid bullshit because it makes every party involved easier to read -- and more importantly, it's a lot of fun!

So while I *do* think you're pushable off this line of inquiry, it seems like a lot of work, and with the way I -- frankly -- have not at all been villagery today, I think initiating a dome with you this early has high odds of getting me killed today.

I think what's more interesting, i suppose, is me thinking about what ladd's defense of me here means. I honestly sort of expect to be given a d1 pass by virtue of being >randv by *meta* right now. I see my name floating a bit, and its honestly a little funny that the people who know me less aren't taking that opportunity. But anyway, that's not important. Here is my lukewarm take

I will probably switch before EoD, but Taffy's wall post they posted twice I didn't really like

My first impression of Syn was that it was towny for him to be there at SoD making jokes and generally seeming happy to be here given how his past wolf rands on this site have all been bad experiences for him.

So it pinged me when Rask called him pockety especially bc Rask claimed a few games ago to have some kind of godread on Syn so either, Syn is town and he should see that, or Syn is a wolf and he should have confidence in his read and vote him for the pocketing, or Syn can't be read from those posts and he should also know that and not post what then looks like shade.

And Wisdom calls him out on that which was good, but then she made a readslist with only two actual reads which was a bad townread on Ender (not bad bc Ender was wolfy but bad bc she was townreading him for stuff nobody who's played with Ender a lot should read him on) and then just "Rask wolf (yes)" and it just looked like that readslist existed only for the purpose of putting the wolfread on Rask in thread which made me think I was wrong and she's a wolf who saw a townie do a scummy thing and is happy to make it into a read.

Then Syn called that readslist towny for her and it made me insecure so I wanted to see how things would progress.

But they've actually both become wolfier.

Rask wants the Wisdom wagon to be "just teasing her for her birthday" and says he needs to reread her while voting Cuth but then when Ender wants to shoot him that's going to definitely reveal her as a wolf. This looks like a wolf who knows Wisdom is going to flip v and wants to keep his own hands clean but also wants others to vote there.

Wisdom has not fleshed out her wolfread on Rask but he's still a wolf however she's voting Ladd for potentially being teamed with him (and for why he's voting her)

Idk but it's one of them and I'd like to vote the correct one.

ender feels a lot different than last game, the post that stands out is the fuckoff huge paragraph about d1 wolfing and shit, ya know the whole "trust tell" thing. Posting feels generally alignment agnostic, which is apparently deliberate

if youre asking on a micro level, i think ender has posted well this game. I dont feel particularly *inspired* by the like... overall body of work, but the posts themselves make word sound good.

my overall thoughts on wisdom is that i recall them making a couple posts that sort of pinged me, but isnt like... blatantly *an alignment* this game. I think my perception of wisdom overall is sort of fucked up tho because last game i had with her i do recall being like "how tf is this the same person as the one who claimed 2-shot firefighter", so im basically ignoring *all* of these thoughts.

circling back around, tho, i *do* think a couple of her posts weren't great but if wisdom does go over here it's a big hwgth kill (which frankly, i dont particularly mind)

overall, im sort of annoyed this game. im not really feeling anyone or anything in particular that i want to ride with or latch onto, and even the things that seem *interesting* for me to do just aren't sparking joy. Frankly, I'm finding myself unable to gin up the enthusiasm. it'd be very convenient if i could just sheep ladd onto a wolf and act like that clears me or some shit.

and people arent even pushing me for this lacking start! so how am i supposed to properly be lazy!

wrt the stuff about me, it came down to a couple things. something about waza's... gentle approach, followed by the turnaround w/ some like weirdness in the posts wrt vaimes seemed very weak and i considered digging into it to try to unearth some extra insights. Just didnt have the energy to get into it, so decided to sponge instead.

there was also just a few sorta *random* things, i felt that his handling of my slot felt sort of odd? but we've basically only played turbos together so ymmv.

i skimmed wisdom’s last game where she was a wolf up until i got tired of looking and she seems kinda different? her posts here seem like they have more thought behind them

and i still like her callout of rask/waza interactions seeming w/w at the start, it’s just not the kind of thing a wolf usually notices early and i had that exact thought reading their interaction too

also i don’t really get why a wolf would do something like start to wolf read waza but then heel turn to having him as her top town off one post where he asks her some questions. granted, i can’t really follow what she’s doing but it seems kinda too all over the place to be a wolf?

also maybe i’m a sucker but i actually liked her calling me dumb and saying she was sad i didn’t town read her anymore lol, maybe it’s silly but i feel like she was genuinely excited at thinking we had found each other so quickly and then got disappointed

overall her posts feel pretty normal from what i remember of her? i can’t really remember the last time we played together where i was a villager though and not sure i’ve ever seen her wolf up close, so maybe all this is in her range (it wouldn’t really surprise me)
