To me, ben's poking of annika's tr on waza kinda looked like he was picking up on that and trying to poke into her reasons for reciprocating the tr

So Annika makes her premature read on Happy

And Benneh calls her out on it, but in a different way he told Happy that his read was premature, much more grilling, and to me that looks like he's getting annoyed that other ppl are townreading eachother over nothing but not him when he was right there and being all active

their opening salvo feels like a wolf pushing through the awkward earlygame stage and i think they are doing a sort of 'wide reaching' style wolf play atm

Just dropping in to say that I'm happy to be in this game. I'm still at work and I'll have a weird schedule over the next few days. I should have enough time to post, tho.

I normally wouldn’t omgus someone when I’m playing like this but stett really is in the realm of they should know better because I have actually told her in dms that I almost never replicate this approach as a wolf because it just gets me in hot water for absolutely no benefit to what my wolf agenda would be

She also did something she often likes to do as a wolf which is accuse people of tmi’ing her as town, it’s not a lock telll because obviously people can do that as town too and I’ve been flaunting around the idea that I’m just tmi’ing my reads so if someone does accuse me of that then yeah fair enough lmao I brought it upon myself. But still the way she did it didn’t feel too good because it just feels reachy to me and has a lack of attention to detail on stuff that I expect a villager to be able to pick up

Like for example she claims I walked back my read on her because she claims I saw Ben vote her or something, but that can’t be the case because I was the only person who spoke between the time I outed my read and walked back on it. She could have simply asked me why I walked back my read and it would have avoided this to begin with.

This was one of the few reads I was willing to explain anyways so I may as well

1. I see stetts opening post, she’s here immediately, seems happy to play the game and tone overall seems fine so I just throw out the tr
2. I read Ben and Annika’s posts and think they’re town too so I then decide to out all 3 of those reads
3. no, its because i know both players and I know happy will do this and not really play ball (see: read of thread so far where he simply appeals to ladd without any elaboration)

whereas with annika, 1) I expect some back and forth, 2) 'getting the ball rolling' felt like an interesting way to phrase what he was doing and 3) his whiplash on stett was quite wolfy fmpov and i wanted to see if there was any depth to annika's read or she was yoloing it out there like waza was doing

why so adamant about not having reads yet while asking Annika to explain her read

well, you say this doesn't jive, but you have already fallen victim to the entire point of that sequence -- you had a nugget of information to dig into into a time and space for this game thread that you weren't initially a part of -- and you used it to produce game content on a period that was pretty dearth of any real content for those of us (or at least me) that were there live. mission accomplished imo

I found Sunbae's post about Lissa a bit weird tbh

bc I read that Lissa post and my very first thought was "oh a game just ended" bc that kind of posts is pretty common?
the "wow I'm so relieved that game is over so now I can finally say X" type of post

and Sunbae is a lot more experienced that I am so I am a bit boggled that he wouldn't recognise it
so if anything it looked a bit performative to me

The same way someone suggested that Happy might have immediately reversed his read on Stett just because it looks like a towny thought process, that's what Sunbae's remark looked like to me.

I sorta felt the same and had no real desire to go back and forth with her and I could imagine she felt the same tbh. she's one of my favorite people to play with (and ill be presumpetive and assume i am also one her favorites) but I don't think either of us loves the dynamics that comes with 'godreads' nor do I think either us of wanted to really solve eachother in the first 60 minutes. plus i was kinda rude and she's historically bad at picking up on my friendly jabs so i could also see a world that unfairly influenced her to post less lol

im somewhat undecided on her alignment still but i think you can just take her sod dip reason at FV.

i can see a world where he is wolf, which is not to say that he is a wolf, but the range is there

if i were making early conditional reads i'd say you two are unlikely to be paired wolves cause i feel like his post @ annika about her inclusion of you in her towncore could feel a little bandwagon-y/riding the tides of some initial suspicion around you in a way that is a very hands off approach in that it plants a seed. i would probably not hold onto that read very long, but just off initial stuff that's how I sorta view it.

i don't think he's been villagey, except a tiny bit re: the lissa relief stuff. but taffy had a good thought about that that i vibe with too so I don't weigh it much.

tl;dr he's in both worlds, let him cook, etc.

btw it would be beneficial for yall to not out too many obv reads before ppl show up. keep it close to the vest a bit and see how people read the game as they join rather than give wolves a blueprint.

also just generally speaking explaining process is going to be more valuable than just blatant defending/pushing. if you dont wana do that then just do what visor is doing rn IMHO cause at least visor's posts are not stifling discussion

i think lissa and taffy are towny, and i liked taffy's process towards the sunbae poking
