The Confederacy of The Arhat Islands is a medium sized, easy-going nation, remarkable for its harmony between citizens and politicians. Its population of 13.91 million Marmosas are either ruled by a small, efficient government or a conglomerate of multinational corporations; it's difficult to tell which. The country has become famous for its well stocked silos of materials feeding industries all that they require. An abundance of energy has turned tales of appliances blinking "12:00" into urban legends. Workers are known for their incredible punctuality thanks to the world-class supply of transportation. More and more elite officers are graduating from military training. The country is known for its new renaissance of entertainment art.

National History

People first settled the Arhat Islands in the 5th century A.D. They crossed over the great Reef from an area North of Nazzuben. Comprised of numerous tribes of the Marma and, to a lesser extent Nazzu ethnic groups, many years passed before any semblance of unity was achieved.

In the 17th century, various navies from The continent of Dictatoria brought settlers to areas that would later become metropolitan centers of the Island chain. By the 19th century the various ethnic groups had largely become indistinguishable as one Marmosan cultural group and forged a political confederacy between the islands.

By 1880 The islands were collectively know as “the Confederacy of the Arhat Islands”. The nation is inexorably linked to the Continent of Australia, directly across the straight from the Nation of Nazzuben.
