While I enjoy the occasional (sweet) bubbly with a fine meal, generally speaking I'm definitely a beer/ale guy. As I've previously stated elsewhere, I was permanently converted by a couple home-brewer friends of mine.

I like stuff that tastes good and doesn't taste like paint thinner.

The beer is orange-amber in color with a cloudy appearance because it is unfiltered. It is also spiced with coriander and orange peel in addition to the hops found in most beers.
Try it sometime. I promise it won't disappoint

There is nothing better than mowing the lawn/going for a jog/playing sport then sitting in the sun and drinking a nice cool beer.

Plus there's the issue of being a student and not being able to afford much.

For a Belgian style white beer it really doesn't resemble Belgian white beer.
Where is the foam? Why is there fruit on the glass?

Sure Belgium has a wide collection of fruitbeers but at least they taste and look like beers.

I have 2 very strict rules about my beer:
    1. If you need to drink ice and ice cold to be able to enjoy it, then it isn't worth drinking (I'm looking at you Heiniken).
    2. If the beer starts to resemble an alcopop instead of real beer, then it isn't worth drinking.

    Also,

    3. Beer should not have bubbles fighting to float to the top. Any bubbles that appear should be the result of fermentation, not added later with carbonation.
    4. Beer should have a small head. I've paid for the beer, not the foam dammit. If I want to drink air, I can do so for free without pouring it into a glass.
    5. If you're only drinking it to get drunk, it isn't worth drinking. Beer should be an interesting, not throwaway drink, whatever its ABV. Really weak beers generally aren't worth drinking, not because of their low ABV, but because little care has gone into their making, and they taste bland.

White beers are great as a refreshment on a sunny day, you don't taste the orange, it just has a very pleasant sourness. Don't knock it before you tried it, it's great imho.

    No idea.

I just enjoy the flavor of the beer. I'm not nearly a connoisseur on the this type of stuff. I basically drink what tastes good. (beer... I don't drink wine coolers or such)

Have you ever tried Blue Moon? It doesn't taste like beer. It tastes like an orange soda with some ale in it.

How do you enjoy the flavor? Beer flavor is far inferior to that of wine, as a general rule.

And I'm not counting wine coolers. That kool-aid doesn't count as alcohol in my book.

Stella is beer for people who can't find proper beer.

Of the ones that are commonly available in the pubs I frequent, Spitfire, Old Peculier, Abbot Ale, Broadside. Then there are others that supplement the usuals, and I usually try some of those as well, although I don't remember their names. Some of those beers don't work of course, but there's a good variety, and I enjoy trying unfamiliar beers.

Pish and tiffle, I'm afraid none of those are proper beers old chap. You should try The Abandoned Shoe Factory Brewery’s famed Soothsucker Pine Sap Ale.

Another safe tactic is to compare the beer with one that doesn’t actually exist. Because the beer ranks swell every week, even the most knowledgeable of beer experts won’t call you out, for fear of appearing “out of the loop.” So instead actually stating an opinion of a beer, say it is “a lot like The Abandoned Shoe Factory Brewery’s new Soothsucker Pine Sap Ale, in the sense that they’re completely different.”
    Shepherd Neame's Spitfire
    Theakston's Old Peculier
    Greene King's Abbot Ale

Why would you want to drink beer that tasted like feet?

    Also, Stella Artois ain't bad.

Do you hate Drug Cartels? Do You believe that the Drug War is basically a failure? Do you think that if we Legalized the Cannabis market, that use rates would drop, we could put age limits on cannabis, tax it, and other wise regulate it? Join The ORG Marijuana Policy Project!

In American politics, similar to British politics, we have a choice between being shot in our left testicle or the right testicle. Both parties advocate pissing on the little guys, only in different ways and to a different little guy.
