Again, if I try to answer your statement, it ends up in WIFOM logic, in that if you were mafia, and had cult abilities, why not cut off an arm for psychological reasons? Okay, everyone. I have been speaking with the scum ATPG, and I believe I have learned something from his words, although he mentioned nothing directly and I was left to infer this for myself. No, I have not been converted.

In the very first sentence of this thread, Crazed Rabbit mentions that there is a gameplay mechanic that is not found in traditional mafias. This could simply be the convert mechanic that the mafia employs, however this has happened in other mafia games. Rather, I think that it is possible that there's no town victory condition. That if, in the event we do defeat the mafia, our load of precious chemicals will wind up being used for nukes or something, and we'll blow up the Earth. Then there'll be no winner, cause we'll all be dead. Perhaps the only way there can be a victory is if it is for mafia. And in that case, it would be in our every interest to join the mafia.

Now, I'm not saying that you should believe this, or even that I necessarily believe it myself. It's just, the more I think about it, the more it seems likely that CR would play a sick trick on us in the event that we won . That, and ATPG left me with a cryptic comment, although he could just as easily be lying: "If you would just lay down your arms, you would attain victory."

I think that we need to discuss this, and whether or not we want to follow it or not. Maybe we should have a vote on it.

You see, you have suddenly exploded in activity (like Seamus noted) since late voting round. You've become very vocal and somewhat taken charge of the game.

I have three theories for this:

1) You are a big hero and are soaking in your fame.
2) You have been converted by the Mafia last round (pretty damned brilliant if this is true).
3) You were always Mafia, and seeing that either Askthepizzaguy or you was going to die anyway, you two decided to cut your losses and kill the more suspicious one.

What do you guys think? More far-fetched Reenkness? Or am I on to something here?

Yeah, uh, no offense, but this is suspicious as hell (and a huge blunder if you were Mafia in either theory 2 or 3, completely undoing a brilliant play).

Four reasons to Vote for Chaotix: One, he was very hesitant to vote Pizza Guy last round, only doing so when it was a tie and he did it VERY innocent-like("I think he can give better arguments as I am semi-lurking")

Two, he is talking about some sort of hippie based crap on how the Mafia should win and on how we ALL should join the cult.....

Three, he still has contact with Pizza Guy when why should he? it's not like he is going to give away his partners or any clues....(he should know Pizza Guy..)

Four, he went after me because "I am not being helpful" but what kind of reason is that? there are many other lurkers...(Plus, last game I spotted him as Mafia and I was just as silly.....he still got me lynched though....)

I woke up late this day, finally no drama. I had a weird dream about a fellow crewmate who was in a criminal organisation and who sacrificed his own criminal collegue to save his own skin...maybe it was just a dream after all.

I went to the bathroom, cleaned up, had a bowl of chickensoup -kind of bland- and checked my mail.

901 spam and 1 mail in my inbox. The 1 real mail was way too long to read, something about voting and FoS-ing.

So I replied to sender:

If Pizzaguy was the first, and if the game mechanic for increasing the number of environmental whiners, is based on him choosing his followers; we should think of whom he would have picked. If the GMFITNOEW is based on some other mechanic (i.e random) we should look at his supporters during the game. Apparently both Chatorix and YLC has admitted communication with him outside this game thread and are therefore suspects. Beefy has publicly given his support to Pizzaguy's innocence, and so has khaan and again YLC.

If, as they say, Pizzaguy plays gutsy, we should also consider his small tidbits of information. There might be intentional clues there. e.g. Right wing vs Left wing found in the mafia.
There is so many things to consider. Would the mafia intentionally lynch one of its members to get townie cred? This is a ballsy play style which have brought me success in two games. Would the mafia follow the cliché of keeping a mix of lurkers and active players in their ranks? What about those who claim that if we don't have a suspect it is better to abstain? This is a clear fallacy. If you don't take a shot, you will never score a goal. Only mafia is afraid of the lynch.
What about those who wants to lynch Chatorix right now? Are those retaliation votes for lynching their leader?

Ive supported Pizza because he was tossing out ideas. Which I normally do for most of the game. There was no solid proof that Pizza was the mafia right? Maybe Chaotix is purposely trying to get him self lynched in order to get other innocent townies lynched.

To prove my innocence I am willing to do what I normally don't, suiciding if CR allows me to.

I cannot stand the idea of the envirofreaks converting me...I swear to the town, if they dare try to, they will have to deal with them becoming the most known quantity. As far as I am able, only death or lynch will take me, I will not go against my own kind. I do not know whom to suspect, I don't have the required data.
