1.I'm not sure how you can change it back to that way.

2.aren't there battle options when you move your cursor to the top, that have options such as speed and show the minimap?

map yes, speed no, could you perhaps take a screen shot for me showing where the speed cursors are? thx

If you are talking about the "minimal UI", that is an option in the preferences.txt. If you installed the trivial script, run the "configuration" option... "preferences"... and uncheck "minimal UI". Or just use CTRL-T to increase to full speed.

ctrl t is it? is it the same to revert back to normal speed? what abt the other(med-fast) speed setting? thx

CTRL-T toggles between normal and triple speed. I don't believe there is a hotkey for double speed.

ahh cool ty, will try to disable minimal ui, doesnt have to start a new campaign right?
