EB 1.2 released

Quick question: I know you edited the EBBS but is it pretty similiar to the previous one? And how much was the campaign_script modified?

Just made a mod and now I fear I have to do extensive work again

Codyos, you probably did install it the wrong place then. So the installer runs to completion? Where did you install it?

Well, as it was 11.4 MB and is now 6.8 MB... But don't fret, most of the change is the removal of the client ruler script.

Haha! I will now have 4 different versions of EB installed on my computer! The 0.8something I first got, 1.0, 1.1 and 1.2. And I will have active campaigns in all 4. I ninja roxorz.

I think it says that more mirrors will be added over time, as soon as possible. Wait until Saturday morning and they will probably be there I am assuming.

Yes, the installer runs to completion. I ran it to where my EB folder is....but it didn't install there. For some reason, it installed in a file all it's own. Go figure.

I just need to move the files, then it should work.

What a surprise! I thought 1.2 was going to be released in 6 months or more. Excellent work you guys! My favorite game ever!

Good thing that I have never really gotten into my Kart-Hadast campaign that much. Now I can download 1.2 and have the real experience with the Qarthadastim units actually speaking, and in their native tongue. I'll wait with downloading 1.2 until I finish my Romani campaign, which could take as much as half a year or more. Don't really have time for computer games at all, an EB is the only thing I played since the beginning of last spring. I have only interrupted my EB time to check out BI, which was actually pretty decent and M2TW, which was the worst TW game ever IMHO.

If it makes you feel better, I've got a rough draft of one in the works and have been deciding on a second one to do. They will both be lesser known battles as I think education is the prime directive of EB. When I can finish them is completely unknown to me as my class schedule is exhaustive and exams are coming up in a few weeks.
