Do this and by the second turn the "Marius reforms" should kick in gear well before any of your fellow roman "allis"
But don't the Marius Reforms happen simultaneously no matter which faction triggers the reforms?

IIRC the reforms can only be triggered by the Romans.

    Hey guys,

CRAP! Egypt is mobilizing it's armies towards me. I think they're gonna attack soon, but my African cities aren't the most fortified.
Oh well, more Heroic Victories for me....... lol.

And the last time I checked, they had Pahroah's Bowmen and Pharoahs Guards. Yikes. It's gonna be tough.

Pontus is really easy. I find that hoplites in a city assault is almost invincible. My group of 2 Mercernary Hoplites pushed by 4 waves of Pontic HEAVY Cavalry. lol

Looks like you've had a nice campaign so far, Chinese Tiger, I've looked at your previous posts. I've never had much success in RTW, i prefur M2TW, but the battles in RTW are pretty epic. I hope your campaign goes well dude.

    Thumbs up Re: Roman: Julii

    Insane834,

Thanks man. I'm sorry you don't like RTW, I think it's a blast. Yeah, my campaign has been very epic and I just have to eliminate 2 more factions, although those factions are gonna be tough to fight.

    Hey guys,

This is a picture of my empire.
Note: Scythians have 2 towns left with only 1 full stack. Parthia only has a one-unit garrisoned city left.

    Enjoy!

Nice empire, only 226 BC still. I personally prefer to takes longer to build up my empire. Seems like you had a nice time.

If you want to continue playing try to conquer the Holy land and Egypt, tons of fun guranteed.
