Rythmic has been lurking and is doing NOTHING to help us. WHY?

Ok, it's late here and I need to get to bed. But, before I do that I'll cast my vote. Although I hate to bandwagon, the last couple posts are rather convincing at pointing towards Shlin28 aka Brian. It does afterall make sense in terms of the show that Brian would snatch Rupert.

As you know I started off neutral and was offered by our host to be mafia or town.
I chose town thus getting the "block" ability.

If I had chosen Mafia - I would have gotten the ability to kill every second night.

Thus there may have been only one murder last night because the second mafia may only be able to kill every other night. Maybe - maybe not?

Also, with Aries asking for one more order - that may have been mine as I sent my "block request" after that post.

Well there is anywhere between 9-16 hours of time difference between me and the rest of you, so it's hard to make a timely addition or response. By the time I get here, I usually don't bother adding anything, since well it's all been said.

Alright to the write up. This caught my eye:

The Doctor was angry to find that Quagmire failed to turn up for his daily STI removal appointment..... he'd even prepared a sharp blade and hammer for him....

To me this seems to say that the Doctor was targetting Quagmire, but he couldn't since he was killed in the previous segment with a bullet to the head. Now, I don't know about y'all but to me this seems to point out that there are two killers, which we already knew, but the two killers don't know who each other are. Otherwise I'd find it unlikely that they'd target the same person.

Three killers....actually, on the first night there were three killings.....One failed, two succeeded... here's to hoping Khaan is one of them.. but something is not right.....but then again two Mafia, one SK.....it works......

I double checked Rythmic's story.
You usually are on roughly about 12 hours ago. Which would be morning/noonish my time. It does seem to suggest you are on during the relatively inactive times of this game.

However, I tend to suspect lurking even so. Apologies if I am wrong, but blocking you should at least help us. If ED is correct, tonight is mafia's night for murdering anyway.

The role pms have been forged, of course.

But, I know that most people are telling the truth. it's just a matter of forcing the liars out into the open.

People with roles can use their roles according to town's best interests, and not doing so makes them suspects.

People without roles can be safely killed off. Investigations can confirm who is telling the truth.

Finally, we kill the investigator to make sure he's not full of crap.

Well, we know Seireikhaan is guilty, due to his own behavior. Otherwise he's a terrible townie, and I know better.

And his little smug smileys are probably attempts to throw me off. But he could also be telling me that someone I trust is lying to me, more likely.

Still, if he thinks I blindly trust anyone here, he's wrong.

How would killing the investigator helped if the actual existence of investigations is confirmed by the host?

True enough. Just seeing if you would protest.

I am certain we have got one of them. Mafia, serial killer, what have you. But we have possibly two more who need to die. The way things are playing out, one or both could be in my inner circle. Which means that I have to re-examine the blocker and the investigator. However, in the very first night, both were occupied doing other things, according to the host's writeups. And there were still two murders. And there have been investigations, as proven by the host. So these guys are confirmed or the host is a big fat liar. The people who are dead are likely innocent, because they were murdered. WhiteEyes is a bigger and bigger suspect, but he will be lynched soon, tomorrow in fact. And if he's telling the truth, mafia can never hurt him. Beefy, our glorious defender, was cleared by YLC, and in the writeups he seems to be cleared as well. I highly encourage mafia to take a swing at him, if you have the grapes.

So that leaves myself, my investigator, my blocker, and my defender all cleared by the host's own writeups, shlin's reveal, and YLC's investigation. You can't really blame me if I am wrong here, because you have to trust the host's own words, he's supposed to be impartial.

Chaotix, on the other hand, just got blocked. And one less kill tonight. So, I think we should block or investigate further. Thing is, if mafia kills him, they eliminate a suspect. How charming! Not to mention his anti-mafia stats.

We have a choice, we can investigate him tonight or block him again, but that won't solve anything. So I suggest we investigate.

Our remaining suspects are such:
white_eyes :D Death - Investigate/Vigilante kills. Lynch to prove. Mafia immune.
Quintus J.C Ernie the giant chicken- Mafia defense 80%, 50% kill attacker. Investigate!
Rythmic Cleveland- Can add a vote in lynch.
Sarathos Chris Griffin- infinite abstains?
Chaotix27 Tom Tucker- Has abilities to defend against mafia. (right...)

Everyone else has logically been proven innocent by the host's own writeups, or is dead. What does that tell you?

2 out of 5 of these people are possibly bad news. WhiteEyes is safely cleared with a lynch tomorrow, which gives mafia a permanent stumbling block, assuming he's truthful. If he's lying, he's dead anyway. Why has he been so panicky?

QJC will be investigated. He's got mafia defense anyway, or so he says.

That's 2 out of 5 suspects cleared, plus we can block someone. We could block Rythmic, because his ability smells like what mafia would have. The ability to affect the tally. He also seemed to perk right up and stop lurking once I suspected him.

That leaves us with a possibility of having one less murder, and 2 people cleared.

Next night, we lynch Sarathos, and block/investigate chaotix.

That leaves no suspects that haven't been already cleared by the host himself. And if the host is lying, it's not exactly my fault.

Final possibility is that killing Stewie somehow ends the game in mafia victory. I thought of that. But seriously, with 3 killers and only 1 "defender" I think that would have been the most likely outcome anyway had I not spoken up.

My conscience is clear, and the strategy is as sound as I can make it. Seirei can smirk all he wants, but I know that either the host is a liar or the above makes sense. There's enough townies left to pull this off.

I'm wrong about something and we lose the game? Big deal. There will be other games. And I'll be wise to whatever tactic fooled me this time. Even in failure, there is no such thing as losing. And I believe I played everything right. You can't expect more of yourself than that.

More info will be revealed by the lynch, and the murder writeups tomorrow. The suspect list gets narrowed down, and there are already plenty of confirmed townies. Some of the worthless roles might even come in handy... adding an extra vote, or deciding the tie vote. We can battle it out to the end even if we were wrong about things today.
