It's fixed, It was filefront. I uploaded it to Axifile and it worked for Hax

Err, no, it was you linking it incorrectly, and that's not even the problem here. The problem is that Hax got way more money than he should've had.

The thing is, I downloaded your save now as well, and the AS has 33k for me tool. So the problem is with your install, not Hax's.

The install shouldnt be a problem, its the whole case on if the scripts were changed around. Remember, Skullheads installer didnt work so we agreed to manually install it. This may have caused some to unrar the files into their EB folder and think that was that..unfortuneatly its not.

Thankfully Hax came up honest about this and prevented the game from being ruined by his somehow 30 stack army a turn

But Hax is certain he changed the scripts, and I know I did (just checked again), so whoever has taken their turn already do me a favor and go to your EBBS_SCRIPT.txt and press ctrl-f. Find "Section 5". It should be deleted.

I will PM them and ask how things are going. I haven't heard Incitatus in a while now so maybe he just dropped off.

But im more worried about making sure the game is up and running for everyone.

i am all ready. just need to actually start the game and see it works. i launched the game ones already and got adviser popped up after pressing F1, saying about activating script. this is a sure sign the things been done the right way, is it not?

I'm still here and anxious to get to my turn. I thought I posted a while ago confirming myself, but maybe I didn't say it right. Anyway, I installed everything right and am good to go.

Also, I'd be in favor of an AI money script if everyone else wants it too.

What I'm trying to say is that I am 100% certain that the problem is with Skullhead's manual install, the one he used when he played his part. I know it because there is no other possibility. The money is added through the script right before the turn starts, and Skullhead is the only one who comes to that point for the AS.

I uninstalled the Installer+Eb and reinstalled Eb and then manually installed EB II with the Modpack and PBeM. So its NOT my installer

I am intrigued as to how you came across EB II.

The money is distributed to the faction right before its turn starts, and when it comes to the AS, you are the only one who have gotten that far. It literally can't be anyone else's. That is an impossibility. You must not have installed it correctly. The only other way it could've happened would be either you, me, TP or Mjolnir using the add_money cheat to give them 30k, but neither of us did. I know that because I also downloaded Mjolnir's save, ended the turn and then loaded the quicksave. The AS only had 3k then.

So it really is your install.

Edit: Well, okay, I can't know that you didn't use the add_money cheat. Did you?

As I said before, you probably just didn't switch the original EBBS_SCRIPT.txt with the EBBS_SCRIPTpbem.txt. I made it this way so it didn't overwrite anything.

Also, CAMPAIGN_SCRIPT.txt needs to be switched.

It is a simple name change that was found in the instructions in both the minimod folder and on the download page.

But if you did that then there is no other logical reason that I can think of.

And as Subotan asked in the Campaign Thread, "How does the AI play without the money script?" or something like that. The AI still plays, just not as well. This minimod was made for the enjoyment of the human player, with the AI factions merely stepping stones.

I CAN fix this, though, if everyone wants. On my turn (since Rome goes first) I can make a script for MY install (no one but me would have to change anything) with the proper AI factions gaining a money boost every turn. No problem on my end if you want it.
