Good gameglyphz,Reenk....you guys whooped in my eyes.....but the SK says other wise
...If it wasn't for the two WOG's we would have killed Quintus WAY back.....(Sigurd was blocking a WOG'ed player I think)
I felt the game was balanced, overall.....I still cannot figure out why everyone thought that the "Vegenful ghost role" was true.....I mean it was bigger bullflop then on the simpsons Mafia......when I claimed "I could kill people who voted for me"
and ATPG was right with most of his theorys...which was why I was trying VERY hard(with the host mind you..) to mess him up...and it worked
![]()
I'm still confused...
Sigurd started pro-town and got converted after dead in one of the last rounds?
Reminds me of Cosa Nuova II...
Sorry that I didn't get involved more deeply, YLC. I blame Ephesus and being in three mafia games at the same time
Congrats mafia![]()

Ok, I been thinking that this was a great game and everything.....but one thing about this game really bothered me....
It had to do with Quintus's role....when you really think about it, his role was WAY overpowered.....
1.As a Pro-town living, he could veto all ghost actions and direct them himself, he also had a (role-blocking sister who he knew from the start who he could trust...) he also could not be possesed by glyphz...we tried and failed....
2.As a dead Pro-town he could again veto all ghost actions.....and worse....if Reenk corrupted him, he would become a super power-Mafia demon.....I don't want to even think of what that was capeable of.....
3.And lastly, he seemed to have been insured win.....no matter what.....EVEN in a SK kills all ending....
since, the SK's mission was to ENSURE that Quintus lived no matter what......
4.Now I feel really cheated about this...(I am so jealous) as a Pro-town ghost, I was able to do.....nothing really since, Quintus would just veto it if he didn't think it was good. Even when I was a Mafia ghost....I HATED having no ability's but my ability to lie and bluff.....and only spy....
As I put a good deal of thought into this game.....8 hours in total just thinking up the "vengueful ghost lie" and how to pull it off......on Reenk's commandEven though I knew I had no defense and was only drawing a Pro-town's attention for one night.....and helping to get Khaan killed
Anyway, I am a little dismoralelzed that everything I did....(which worked greatly) went down the drain....because we had a Pro-town/could be Mafia/SK living win conidtions role....which would have won, no matter how it went in the closing rounds.....
So I am, really bummed out by this and if you really are doing a seqeul to this...I feel I need to pass...since hardwork and lieing in your Mafia games doesn't cut it anymore.....only ability's of the Pro-town, Mafia and SK's.....![]()
I admit, it made me think and bluff on a level I never thought I was capuable of....but I really feel like it was all wasted.....even though I had a blast![]()
Come on WE:D...
You were just unlucky.
You guys tried to kill me two times?
Strike 1.
The SK role would have been given to anyone who RR converted and was number three in line.
Strike 2.
I convinced you guys not to kill Quintus in the last rounds.
Strike 3 and out.

Which is all that matters, really
Also, don't be too hard on our host. Finding a good game balance is difficult. And the more roles and special events you put in the game setup, the more complicated it all gets.
Allthough it was a small game, I'm pretty sure YLC had more work running this then many others had with large but simple (i.e. not role heavy) games.
Kudos to YLC for being crazy enough to host such a role heavy game, including numerous twists and an interesting game for the dead players![]()

Also add into the fact that Quintus didn't veto what the Ghosts did at all, he could only change one Ghost vote - if the Ghosts so willed, a mere two of them could ignore QJC. Second, once he died, he lost all abilities until he was converted by the mafia. Third, the SK was never guaranteed to win or even come out at all, it very nearly didn't, an it could be Chaotix right now who won. Third, you were Pro-Town for like all of 2 hours (time it took Reenk to convert you), your whole mission was to mislead the Ghosts, not do something uber. The idea was group cooperation - in essence, you were unlynchable masons who the mafia could only try to seed with doubt.
I feel bad though for the mafia, a mere single PM of miscommunication and they lost![]()
If we are discussing alternative endings.
What would have happened if I had targeted Reenk Roink in the last round in stead of Andres?
I did consider it until the very last minute before the deadline.

It would have been the first ever mafia DRAW or I would have sent it into into a final day phase for voting.
You beat Reenk because your victory conditions were met at the moment of Andres death. However, had Reenk died, that would be 2 town versus one SK, fulfilling neither sides victory conditions.

Overpowered? Maybe a little bit, but way overpowered would be an overstatement.
I wish I could veto all the ghosts, but I could only take control for one of their action, meaning as YLC said with 2 ghosts in alliance they could pretty much ignore what I do. While I was really lucky to have someone to trust from the start of the game.1.As a Pro-town living, he could veto all ghost actions and direct them himself, he also had a (role-blocking sister who he knew from the start who he could trust...) he also could not be possesed by glyphz...we tried and failed....
I'm not sure what would of happened if I died, and didn't want to find out.2.As a dead Pro-town he could again veto all ghost actions.....and worse....if Reenk corrupted him, he would become a super power-Mafia demon.....I don't want to even think of what that was capeable of.....![]()
Me and Sigurd got really lucky, Sigurd was the third spirit converted and became the SK. Or else we could be looking at a very different ending right now. Probability was on our side.3.And lastly, he seemed to have been insured win.....no matter what.....EVEN in a SK kills all ending....
since, the SK's mission was to ENSURE that Quintus lived no matter what......
Me, Beefy and Chaotix never trusted you since the 'jerk', Chaotix already started doubting you because of your vengenfulness towards the town for being lynched.4.Now I feel really cheated about this...(I am so jealous) as a Pro-town ghost, I was able to do.....nothing really since, Quintus would just veto it if he didn't think it was good. Even when I was a Mafia ghost....I HATED having no ability's but my ability to lie and bluff.....and only spy....

Chaotix told me in PM straight after his death about the good ghosts and vengeful ghost theory. He had gotten this theory somewhere in the 'Resident Evil' mafia, and suggested to me that lynched ghosts shouldn't be trusted because they might be evil vengeful ghosts that want revenge against the town. I got really weary of you after your lynch especially because of your particular vengefulness towards all those who got you lynched. As I put a good deal of thought into this game.....8 hours in total just thinking up the "vengueful ghost lie" and how to pull it off......on Reenk's commandEven though I knew I had no defense and was only drawing a Pro-town's attention for one night.....and helping to get Khaan killed

Don't take White eyes statements the wrong way guys. Lord knows how many times I whined to YLC (ask many hosts of games I play in, I'm a whiner![]()
). I think he feels the way he does because of the amount of work put into the game. I put the most thought, time, energy, and enthusiasm in this game as well (and I have played major roles on many great games recently: Prometheus, Fillet Royale, Golden Rule, You can't win, Ephesus (forgive me if I missed some)). It is indeed a testament to YLC and his game that people would want to put this kind of effort.
Would I have liked the win? Of course. But the road is much more important than the result, and not only was this the best ride I've taken, but my partners and I have probably never driven any better.
Heh, we were unlucky and I will be giving a full detailed synopsis of my actions and thoughts during shortly hopefully.
On Strike 2 however, I am still confused why Sigurd got the SK power before night ended. I sent in a tenative PM naming Sigurd but explicitly stating that I might change it to Chaotix. Soon as I check back, Sigurd PM's me.Sigurd even got to perform an action on the night following his lynch. I'm exceptionally confused on that issue.
And Strike 3 should be changed to an accidental forfeit.![]()
The quick conversion of Sigurd is the result of a Host who stays up till midnight-dawn, trying to use the best atmosphere (with proper movies and music) to write his stories, and as a result became very tired from the constant stress on being awake for 18 hours with a destroyed sleeping schedule. I tried to also remain as awake as possible to quickly and efficiently answer your PM's while you were on so the game could run much smoother.
I see now I need to take some considerations for myself so I do not conduct such errors again in the future![]()
Where is the analysis? I demand an analysis of my pure pwnage in this game!
![]()
I believe I nailed Glyphz, and I did say that Sigurd registered high on the scummy scale. Shlin was acting odd too, but he was the investigator.
To be fair, this is an unusual game and SkyNet wouldn't have detected all the bizarre-ness of this game. However, I think this proves that it does detect scumbags pretty well.
Had I thought to use it against the dead, it might have found more. It also detected Andres as a good guy as opposed to a bad guy.
Anyone disagree with that analysis?![]()

Sigurd was pro-town till the day he got coverted. Had town refuse to listen to Reenk then we might of had a town victory, I was not happy when Sigurd got lynched.![]()
Your "Skynet" thing works great, it pratically identified all the roles. But I am not so sure how would it detect those who are pro-town or against... they would both try to survive, try to be helpful and maybe stay active... whats the difference?
Edit: But the dead didn't post much, how can you analyze them?
Edit 2: This is to ATPG btw.

I can't say how it works, otherwise it becomes less effective.
It still needs tweaks, but it is becoming more and more effective as time goes on, and with every error it makes, that's another hole in my net that I can fix.
I believe my record is still far better than 50% of the mafia nailed, in spite of recent losses. Didn't detect Reenk, though, because Reenk had been blocked so many times and so forth that I no longer considered him a suspect.
This was a bizarro game, so I can't fault SkyNet for that. Look for it in the Godfather, Part 3. That's where I hope it will shine.

I wouldn't worry about it.
First of all, my pattern of behavior never really changes, and it always gets me lynched rather quickly. Plus everyone is always suspicious of my motives, no matter how suicidal I am with my life.
I also made a joke in the thread that suggested I wanted to be made into a mafioso (of course!) but the fact is I am a bad choice, for one because I asked for it, and for two, since this is a game where the mafia Don picks people, there is a crazy chance of me being picked.
That being said, I highly doubt it. And again, I'll probably get lynched in the early game, so that leaves only one murder for you to have to worry about. And if there are still two murders, you'll know I am not mafia, and can therefore trust my alignment as a townie.
Unless I were the Don, but I doubt GH would make me the Don. He'll probably pick Sasaki.
From what I've read, everyone fears Sasaki.

Reenk, you forgot to say those words....."He saw though me"I really did, if only town would have acted then.....you would have had a easy victory.....I always seem to have a Reenk dectation system in me....I can always tell if he is safe..on my side...or dangrous and up to something
