There, but for the grace of God, goes John Bradford
My aim, then, was to whip the rebels, to humble their pride, to follow them to their inmost recesses, and make them fear and dread us. Fear is the beginning of wisdom.
I am tired and sick of war. Its glory is all moonshine. It is only those who have neither fired a shot nor heard the shrieks and groans of the wounded who cry aloud for blood, for vengeance, for desolation.

My family has certainly been participating in it for the last 50 years, so in a way yes.
Ok.
It just kind of looks like you're loading up the righteousness mobile and taking no prisoners.I'll entertain shades of grey when they are a required facet of a situation, I'll not allow myself to be duped into thinking there is white somehwere within the black hole of the War on Terrorism, rendition, or the Levant.

In the case of rendition, I will indeed, take no prisoners, niether do I see any good in the planning of the War on Terror. The Levant, well we have had enough discussion on that to illustrate what I think.
As far as righteousness goes, your new president seems to be using all of it up.

The War on Terror, should have been properly planned, a real political resolution should have been created, not the parcelling out of the country to Warlords. The British Army would not have been betrayed by the pathetic lackeys of Washington known as New Labour.
Rendition, is dehumanising for both parties concerned, it sickens me that my fellow citizens could be kidknapped and tortured by the US and its whip dogs in the Middle East, what's worse is my governments compliance, it is humiliating and illegal.

I don't have a good grasp of British politics but I imagine your countrymen were over 50% supportive of the war going in. Correct me if I'm wrong. Hardly lackeys.
Which fellow citizens are you talking about. I've seen you cliam the UK, NZ, and Hungary all as home.
