'Scuse me, gents, but when in the GMT do you mostly find it convenient to play? I'm not sure I'd be able to participate in the tournament proper (there's a chance; University activity seems to be cooling off... for now), but would be more than willing to play a few warm-ups as a sort of "test dummy" (or fluffer? ) in the event that other tourney entrants aren't available, or just to make up the numbers.

This guide is written so that anyone can understand it. Please just ignore the obvious bits.

I. Guide to play EB over the Internet using RTW online game feature

1. Make sure that you have a clean install of:
* RTW + Patch 1.3 + Patch 1.5
* EB 1.1
* EB 1.2
* The EB 1.2 Fixes
(Installed in this order)
2. Check if your firewall allows RTW to access the Internet.
3. Start EB using the multiplayer .exe
4. Click "Multiplayer"
5. Click "Online Battles"

I dont understand step 3. I dont have a "multiplayer .exe". Where is it? The install is completely new.

Edit: Huh, that's weird. It won't install on my computer.

Its the shortcut that says 'Play Multi Player' if you installed the trivial script.

Heh sorry for disappearing like that earlier. My computer overheated. After that, I'm not sure what happened. I couldn't send chat messages over Hamachi. And couldn't really see anyone... I'll take a look at it later, I suspect my mate was downloading things with bittorrent. Things usually gets messy when someone do that.

Usual hamachi problems - i have had such on other games. I never really liked hamachi due to that + other slight minor problems. Anyway i will probably be online tomorrow or after tomorrow in order to get my first defeat.

A hilarious game.
There was a long period of nothing but cavalry manoeuvres.
Eventually, the two Greek armies attempted to attack me independently, but I moved my forces in front of one of them, causing the other to line up behind the first.

A series of cavalry charges on Antisocial's incomplete defence ring ended in failure, and eventually, Poto attacked Antisocial. I then took the initiative and attacked both as they were attacking each other.
Then it devolved into a slugging match basically, one that I was shocked to come out on top of.

Poto's cav almost caused a complete rout on several occasions...

Hahaha yah, when i routed those like 5 units by one of my last remaining Phlangites i thought i may win but you came back. Good game guys.
