There's no reason why it shouldn't. You can always uninstall my installer if it doesn't work to your satisfaction. If it doesn't work, be sure to let me know as I'm trying to make this thing as compatible with other stuff as I can.

well... when i start EB, before it opens, i got a message like 'couldn't copy a .rwm file, file not found', and so on. sorry i can't explain it properly, but the message just jumps on desktop, then the game starts.

It should generate a new one automatically. It's probably just a warning, but just in case:

You may want to start a new campaign, play a turn, then quit the game. Then relaunch and load your game.

Ok. I'm not so brilliant with the computers and I'm having trouble with this mini-mod. I did the following:

Installed RTW into the Default Program Files Directory
Patch 1.3
Patch 1.5
Installed BI in the same directory
Installed BI 1.6
Installed EB 1.1 Into the RTW Directory
Installed EB 1.2
Installed the BI.exe patch

And I get that error message"Please select an item from the list" when I click play campaign.

I know this has been asked before. But I really want to use this minimod and I haven't found much useful stuff in the responses. As a placating gesture, I donated to your site

Your problem, from what I've researched, is likely due to the fact that something has been installed to the wrong directory. Every single install should point to the *exact* same directory (your rome total war base directory). One of the EB installers has a really screwy directory by default that you have to manually delete (it says something like "delete this text"). It's often missed. The EB team really shouldn't have done that as most people just click a directory and hit "next"--this one you have to actually manually change the path in the text box.

EB comes with a validation script. Run it and see what it says.

In my next version of the installer, I should make it confirm that RTW is where it should be and that there are no screwy directories.

it does not work i get a error Script Error in eb/data/export_descr_unit.txt, at line 10091, column 34.

I ran the validation script and it showed a lot of stuff that makes little sense to me but I suppose means there's something wrong somewhere, but I can't figure it out. Shouldn't this theoretically work if BI 1.2 works fine and its installed into the same Rome directory as everything else? If I can't figure it out, is there an easy way to just use BI.exe without the installer? I really want challenging AI and naval invasions to keep things spicy.

i have tested this mod with

mod Darth Stalin's Legionary Model
City Mod
Force Diplomacy Minimod
and it is compatible whit savegames
and i changed export_descr_unit because all the units tha can do shield wall are too much separated
in their formation and i returned them how they was in EB vanilla and they get can do shield wall.
i maked this changes in the course of my campaing and they are compatible.

Try doing a search for "Please select an item from the list" in the forums, that might give some ideas as to what is wrong.

You must install all mods first, or the changes that allow BI to work properly are wiped out. My installer only inserts changes as needed so all your mods should be preserved in BI.

Did you install any mods after you ran the installer?
Does this happen after you load a recently-created game?
Here's a test: start a new EB for BI game as Epiros. Save. Quit. Load the game and check if Phyrros has the night fighter trait. Attack something and see if you can click the checkbox.
