Hey all, back on active duty.

While not a new comer around here, I also enjoy playing MMORPG's and so I take some extended leave of absence around these forums, the series and modding, from time to time.

With ETW lingering on the Horizon, I can't but feel nostalgia for my favorite place to hang out while enjoying a good campaign.

So taking the opportunity to say hi to old friends and welcome all new members of the Org :)

Hey all,

I am currently a graduate student working on my Master's degree in English. Of course, this means I have less and less time to play games. I do, however, break all the busy-work with the occasional new computer game. I have been a fan of the Total War series since Rome:TW (not as long as many of you).

I have been lurking around these forums for quite some time, but finally decided to register in anticipation of receiving Empire:TW in the mail. I already have Steam (am I the only person that thinks this is a fairly good way of dealing with anti-piracy compared to SecuRom?) so I should be able to install the game, patch and go.

What's this about no console, though? Interesting. I always found it most helpful when modding my own traits back in the day. Maybe the devs will release a tool for it (a version of their own debug console?), or someone else will.

Hellou folks!!

Im a long time lurker of this board but only recently decided to actually make an account on it( yes yes its just a few clicks but im a lazy person ^^)
When not playing various TW games i sleep, eat, drink vodkas & beer, oh yes & work as Surveyor in Croatia, somehow i need to pay the bills, money dont pops out of nowhere, sadly .
