I live in the UK and mine has been sent today, I hope it comes on wednesday but most sites say 3 - 5 days.

I got next day from Amazon so I expect it to be shipped tomorrow and delivered Wednesday. I am almost giddy.

Play.com frequently deliver faster than they say they will. Thay give you the 3-5 days figure so you aren't expecting it sooner.Originally Posted by Fisherking

I was going to get the one in Game store but seeing the Victory shredding the Constitution was too much of a specticle to pass up. I'm glad I did now.

People here do realise that if your in a Euro time zone you can't play till Wednesday even if the game does come tomorow?
I just don't understand steams logic in only allowing activations which correspond with the correct release dates. After all a lot of company's actually end up delivering packages a day before release date.

Well it looks like Steam botched the early downloads!
You should see the other thread on the subject!
As long as they don’t manage to foul up the activation its all cool!
I would have thought Steam set up the early download date…it isn’t like it was a surprise and no one knew the game was coming out…
Some on has a serious case of rectal cranial insertion…I can’t see where it is CA that is at fault…they set a release date…all the shuffling and jiving has to go on Steam’s head…
We are lucky we got a hard copy, even if it means a wait…

I was under the impression that CA just made the game and Sega was the one who figured out things like launch and download dates.

Unfortunately there was a problem with my payment on Play.com otherwise they would have probably already delivered it. Now I'm impatentiently waiting for them to process my payment again. The wait is killing me!

My package is somewhere in the British postal system now. The suspense is killing me! If I don't get the game before the activation service goes active I swear I am not coming back onto the Org until I can play it..

No postie today yet, and i've got to go out soon, will ETW fit through my letterbox??!!
Are we really going to be in the position of maybe getting ETW today (Tues) but not being able to play it until Wed ?! I will not be happy with Steam/Sega if this is the case, but then i've never ever had a game delivered before the release date!
Already we've had huge waits to download the Demo (for most people) from Steam , and no email from Sega BEFORE the Demo was released to say it was out!

Unfortunately yes. If you bought a boxed copy you cannot play until Wednesday, and there is no way around that.
I'm not happy about it either.

This is the nature of most games.
That's why usually they no longer say
Game Arrives on
Now they change the wording to
Game Ships On
There was a time long ago, when you may have a game store have a game a week in advance and be able to buy it, or even a day. But after all the lawsuits now unless you find some no name story in germany your outta luck till tommorrow at least.
