just to let players who are yet to chose an avatar know, there is a guy that Cicero recently adopted (so the guy's an FM); I forgot to take a mugshot but I remembered his traits, he is Sharp/Uncharismatic (unsure of this part)/Languorous, Patrician, Wealthy, and one of the tub-thumper traits (so he has 3 influence points) and 26 years old.

Make an SOT post, then your free to roam. If you wish to join a legion, head over to the Campus Martius (I need to update it) or you could ask to become an Aedile of one of the Italian cities

Theres been a lot of "Your new so wtf do you know?" in the curia lately, disregard that entirely. Good luck in BTSH, sometimes it gets slow but its nice.

No there hasnt. Pointing out that players need to follow the rules is not usually classified as wtf do you know. I believe we've all come to a peaceful agreement anyhow, no need for this post Mooks.

Anyway, I'm glad at least one of my PM's worked. Many people do not have 1.1 anymore, and it puts them off. I suppose it does require quite a lot out of some people to have two Rome and EB installations. So thanks for replying and signing up Iskander. Good to have you aboard.

Ok, I found the MotH's name in the Consul's report (Sextus Cornelius Scapula). Can I download a save to find all his traits and then make a SOT post? Or would it be more polite to wait for Navarro?

You have obviously never played WOW before.

I've played WOW once, but it failed to suck me in. I like the idea behind BtsH--PBM melded with my favorite computer game. Since most interaction consists of brief posts, this is less time-consuming for me than traditional PBM (my last try at PBM was several years ago. I played the part of Ensign Robert Blackwell, the Ops officer on the USS Solstice and while it was fun I had a hard time keeping up with my post quota.)

) and post where I want to start, but where can I found out which settlements are possible? And what do I do after I have chosen my avatar?

Glad you made it, Tolg. Welcome to BtSH.

New avatars are on the first page of the sign-up thread. I don't know if Cicero's MotH is avaliable, I'll let Everyone answer that. If you don't like the ones avaliable, simply say so and Navarro (GM) can make some more.

Once you've got a character, make sure you're comfortable with the rules and FAQ, ask if you don't understand something. Everyone here is welcoming and happy to help anytime.

Once you have a character, make an SOT post (hyperlink in my sig), and your ready to go. Announce yourself in the Curia, and take it from there.

And remember, have fun.
