Maybe I missed it or maybe I’m just crazy but it looks like that the battle maps are no longer geographically reflective of where you are on the campaign map??!!! So no more strategic placement of your units in woods on hills or at river crossings. Is this true? And are we back to the STW system of one battle map per province?

If so that’s kind of crazy, one of the best things about RTW and MTWII was that every battle you could fight somewhere new from the deserts of Africa to the steppes of Russia. Does any one know whats going on here?
