I actually think I can claim to be the one who used all of those drugs. See, I was feeling like a feast yesterday night, and so I brought wine and Omanes' drugs with me when I chowed down on taka's corpse. Reportedly, he tasted "heavenly".

As much as it pains me to do so, as I need fire to cook my delicious meals and the gas stoves in the kitchen are in terrible condition, Gobbledygook's firestarting is going to wind up killing us all. And we wouldn't want that to happen, I very much like living as I'm sure most of you do.

I say we get rid of the pyromaniac today, and if this game continues, then we have to get rid of Omanes. After all, he investigated no one and there was no kill. He could be the killer without even knowing it.

The write-up gave us - some - warning of our impending doom if the pyromaniac isn't stopped. If we lynch Gobbledegook today then at least some of us should stand a chance of surviving. As White_Eyes:D suggested - although I can't say I trust him completely - we can still take the major suspects on vacation for one night more and then hopefully lynch them in order of priority.

I would urge all of you mentalists to vote Gobbledegook today.

Day Five:



Gobbledygook was in an abandoned wing of the asylum, near the food reserves and the transformer. He was pouring gasoline all over the place, muttering to himself; "Fire fire fire fire fire fire fire fire yes yes burn burn fire fire fire fire everything burns everything dies fire fire fire fire...."

He lit a match, and tossed it at his feet, but he had gotten gasoline all over himself, and he set himself on fire. Oh the pain... the sweet delicious pain... he was covered in beautiful, elegant, delicious fire. He was in heaven. "YESS!!!!! FIRE!!!! FFFFFIIIIIIIIIRRRRRRRREEEEEEE!!!!! BURN ME, YE GODS OF PRECIOUS FIRE!!!!" And he lost consciousness and fell into the transformer, and was electrocuted to death while he was burning. Now there was a fire out of control on the other wing... and the food reserves were all gone. They were miles and miles away from nowhere, in the Greenpepper Mountains... no one could hear their calls for help... no one could hear them scream.

On the radio in Gobbledygook's room, there was a song playing on the small clock radio. It was Johnny Cash....

And it burns, burns, burns.... soon everything will burn. Could they catch the Psycho in time? The sun was setting on the Crusty Asylum...

Night Five



There was a song playing on the radio in Lord Winter's room; The God that Failed by Metallica. This song would have special meaning for the God of Winter.

"This song rules!" thought Lord Winter, as he jammed out to the awesome lyrics. He had taken apart his shotgun, and was polishing every single piece. He was about to go out and protect shlin28 from the Devil tonight, but the Psycho burst into his room and took him completely by surprise. Not one for man to man combat, Lord Winter knew he was done for. Accepting his fate, he launched himself towards his nemesis in a suicidal rush, grabbing what he could as a weapon and using it to flail against the Psycho. It seemed as though the Psycho could not be destroyed using such weapons, and the efforts of Lord Winter were in vain. No, Psycho was not going to be taken down today. Lord Winter flew into a rage and used every ounce of strength to destroy the Psycho, but it had no effect. Resigned to defeat, Lord Winter watched as the metallic object struck him in the face, ending his life. Lord Winter did not resist.

Once again, the Psycho went rummaging throught the drawers looking for something. He found something in Lord Winter's cabinet, and immediately took it. His shaking stopped for a brief moment, and he went back to his room. Meanwhile, the fires in the east wing raged out of control, and surrounded the room marked "Kralizec". Boudica was inside, and she watched in calm serenity as the flames came closer and closer. She walked calmly into the fire and allowed herself to die. Her sacrifice would not be in vain.... if the Psycho could be destroyed.

The fires in the west wing were now spreading... tomorrow, more will die. Detective Andy woke up with a headache.

One of you has the power to end all this.... otherwise, the innocent are doomed.

Fair warning: This may be your final chance to catch the Psycho. If you're not sure... I would advise you not to lynch.

We didn't get our block orders in in time yesterday. So yeh. Seems our original thoughts on Lord Winter were correct. He was innocent. At this stage it's looking pretty bad. We'll withhold our vote since from the outside we understand it looks like it could be anyone of us.

My Gobbledygook salad tasted horribly of evil last night. Now we know the full consequences of his firestarting. He played with fire, and now we're starting to get burned.

I predict either one or two people will die in the fires next night phase. Add that to a lynch and a Psycho kill, and the Psycho wins. In fact, if two people get burned, then the Psycho wins even if we don't lynch. That's not a chance I would like to take right now...

Because I am almost certain it is Omanes. Every night write-up alludes to Detective Andy. Lord Winter attacked the Psycho before he was killed, presumably hitting him in the head with a makeshift weapon. Detective Andy woke up with a headache.

And I am curious to see who Omanes "investigated" last night, too.

A few thoughts, the psycho seems to be exhibiting drug like behavior. For each of his victims he searches for something desperately and often seems very angry every time he doesn't find it, classic druggy behavior. He also shakes throughout the kills, a symptom of withdrawal.

As for the lynches today I think either Omanes or white_eyes. The killing of each investigation target is to weird for a pure coincidence. Furthermore his behavior hasn't been consistent and has rasied more questions then it has answered.

He starts the game off with random posts, which at first I took as his role. However, looking back, it makes they make no sense if you presume that Omanes is Detective Andy. In fact they let him get by with no input at all. After that he launches a full attack against Boucida, based on nothing besides the fact that she saved herself in the (one vote) tie. Something any townie will do. After that he attacks Boucida again for no meaningful reason. Something that I find scummy. The drug use theory also fits with the idea of Andy not knowing that he is the killer.

In summery, Omanes has been inconsitant in his behavior, he has not used logic and his votes have been either on cliche mafia behavior or completely random. The reveal does not add up with his past behavior, and leaves more questions then answers. With the write up, his behavior and the reveal, Omanes would be excellent choice for a lynch.

White_eyes is my other suspect. I don't have alot of evidence for this. All I have, is my gut. To me White_eyes activity seems very similar to GF3. Also he was blocked last night when we did not have any kills.

As per the rules, I cannot give you the pm that I received. I can paraphrase it for you.

I decided to eat taka that night- this time, it was special. Usually, I just eat the person, and get a feeling in my stomach as to if they had any evil in them- Gobbledygook gave me some very bad indigestion, and boudica's first role also had a small bit of uneasiness, too- she may have been a vigilante or something. Everyone else tasted delicious....

But taka was the best. His flesh tasted so delicious that it warranted my "taking" of a bottle of wine and some drugs. That's as much as I remember, I was hopped up on medication, after all.

But then the night end write-up showed that Omanes/Andy's drugs had been taken from him. I deduced that these were probably the same drugs that I used that same night, and proclaimed it to keep anyone else from jumping to false conclusions, as they had begun to- I had nothing to hide, after all, and any information I could share could only help the rest of you.

Your hypothesis, Lord Winter, that Andy is a drug addict, is probably spot-on, now that I think about it. The evidence is all there, and it's making Omanes look very guilty right now. I say he has to be lynched.

And finally, to White_Eyes: If you would look at the evidence around you, there is a much better target to lynch than Psychonaut right now. I'm not getting scummy vibes from him at all, actually.

EDIT: More evidence. Detective Andy woke up with a headache because he shot himself up with drugs the night before after killing Lord Winter!

We was actually going to block you, and we aren't not sure who boudica was going to block. We aren't lying goddamn! The only reason we didn't vote straight away is that we didn't want to start another silly bandwagon, we can't afford that right now. We may only have 1 last chance to get this right.

No blocking happened as I / Kralizec died in the fires. With Lord Winter dead I would say Omanes has to go. If that doesn't end things then it would appear Psychonaut has been pulling the wool over all our collective eyes. But I wouldn't lynch Psychonaut before Omanes - no way.

I investigated Lord Winter - thought that was kind of obvious. ATPG said that "he died before I got there", this being unusual since they normally die after I've checked them out, but I still managed to find his file.

This, to me, suggests that I am not the phyco. Perhaps, however, if I do have dual/multiple personality disorders I still could be. I woke up with a headache which is something else that may be worth noting if it has any significance.

This is what I've got so far

Beefy187 - failed, died, but I think that was coincidence

ATPG said to me that I should have all the clues I need to solve this mystery and to "take my best guess" as to how to carry on.

He did actually say "you", not sure whether he's referring to the whole town or just me. Gah! I'll let you all look back and decide without me. If you lynch me and the town is saved then well done. If not then not quite so well done. It's a 50:50 gamble and I, not really having a single clue, would rather not influence it.

I'm going to be really interested to see the role list at the end of the game

Edit: To clarify, we could have used it on Omanes, but chose to use Lord Winter instead, which did nothing.

Edit2: Just some thoughts, Omanes and White_eyes were blocked for two rounds in which no kills occurred. And when we copied White_eyes it didn't really implicate him as being bad, the wording wasn't the form we'd expect if he were the killer. So, the only player we still don't really know much about is shlin, he's flew under the radar the whole game, but then again he isn't really as suspicious as Omanes.

Best I can do as a neutral host. Double hints... you should feel special. Clues in rhyme... mmm mmm delicious.

The last message sent to me by the divine Taka, the underlined bit and the bolded bit are added by him - because of them, the divine Taka chose to bomb Beefy.

However, now that I think more about them now... I think it is Psychonaut.

Why?

1. His schizo behaviour - "He (Taka) cannot see the forest for the trees" - a clear hint at multiple personalities.

2. His post count - 1/10 of the posts in this game are his. I don't remember him ever being that active. A quick look through the post counts in other games supports this.

Here's my theory:

Psychonaut is Andy's bad side, the manical side, or a ghost/spirit that represents vengence or something along that lines. He speaks in plural form because he represents Andy's repressed feelings, and Andy cannot be killed cos Psychonaut is alive. This is why Andy survived a long time - because the Psycho cannot kill him.

Also, another clue from Taka from ages ago:

Three can see... let them be.
Who are they? Who is he?
Four tonight, they all could see.
But someone's eyes are shut, so three.

Can you see, Taka? Can you see?

This suggests that Andy's blind to the truth - hence he cannot investigate Psychonaut or do anything to him. The "Who are they" comment could suggest 3 detectives, or link back to schizophrenia demonstrated by Psychonaut again.

Because of this, I will vote: Psychnaut

If I get this wrong, then I am sorry in advance , but I really believe Psychonaut is the Psycho

Omanes, if you are the Psycho and really don't know it yourself, as in you have a split personality, then you can possibly be both townie and mafia. That said, if you can't win unknowingly as the Psycho, you may as well win with town by voting for yourself- this will show that Detective Andy has really solved the mystery. Wouldn't he be willing to turn himself in if he realized how dangerous he was?

This is hinging on the fact, however, that you really believe you are town, and are not just scum who is lying to us...

Edit: To shlin- this is an interesting hypothesis, but it may not make a whole lot of sense within the context of the game. How can Andy's dark side have a separate vote from Andy? And again, at least we believe Psychonaut's role to be a copycat who can take other people's abilities. Can we have a confirmation that Psychonaut's abilities have worked in the past?
