It is better to conquer yourself than to win a thousand battles. Then, the victory is yours. It cannot be taken from you, not by angels or by demons, heaven or hell.
XP Pro SP3 Here. Since recent hotfix save games disappear. I have had some CTD. Usually happens after a Naval battle and when I go to click on the ship icon that adds the captured ship to my fleet thats when the CTD happens. If I auto the naval battle however it wont CTD. Odd how it only does it when I click on the capture ship icon.![]()
Vista 64 SP1, no issues.Played latest fix everything appears to be working.
Vista 64, only CTD I ever have is when I attempt RtI. Everytime i capture Fort Duquesne, game crashes. Havent gathered the will to try again since this weeks patching.

7 attempts at grand campaign, all ending in repeatable white screen CTDs (the 'Empire.exe has encountered a problem' kind, never had the insufficient video memory one). Trying an 8th time currently.
No sound problems with second most recent hotfix, so have decided not to install newest hotfix in case it nerfs something else.
