Specifically, it does not have the handy access to unit stats, etc. that I can reference either in game, or look at while away from my computer. When I am sitting at my computer on the internet is exactly the time I do not need to use or want to bother with a strategy guide.
But the key point about the online version is that you can contribute to it ...
