i tried using FRAPS once. it screwed up my computer . is there any other way?

Click on the printscreen button when you want to try it. Then open up Paint, and paste in it.

Unfortunately, this can only be done one picture at a time, for which you may need to minimize and maximize ETW several. Which is why I love FRAPS.
