    There's no disputing what's most effective for home defense between a shotgun and a handgun. The other has no intimidation factor during prep and makes a loud bang and is much more difficult to aim. Keep it simple, go with the shotgun at home.

    Well, I'm afraid I can't argue with that logic.

    Actually, that's good advice for me; I was thinking of buying a couple handguns for home defense, but your arguent for the shotgun sounds a lot more convincing.
