Don't worry about them, seriously when I took them, other than maths I did about 1 hours revision for each subject, now I'm not saying don't revise, I'm just saying don't worry. The papers are so linear and straight forward that as long as you listened in lessons and know how to relate topics to a question you should breeze them.

Although when you get to AS/A levels you'll probably want to do more work. I actually try and revise a solid 2/3 hours a day now, and to be honest you need to.

The only thing I am really worried about is Art - I am predicted a C in art, compared with As/A*s in all my other subjects...

I just can't bring myself to do anything

As long as your dropping it I wouldn't worry to much about it. Only universities that might care about not having all A's/A*'s is Oxford/Cambridge. Unless your looking at one of them one c will be irrelevant. Of course if you are looking at Oxbridge then you'll probably want to aim for all A's/A*'s.

Nothing wrong with hoping for the best

Going on from the my current predictions, I can probably get 7 A* easily, 8-10 depending on if I can improve my two English GCSES and my German from As to A*s, (Not being a native speaker of English is certainly a big disadvantage in terms of learning languages...), but they are still within my reach.

It would be really annoying if I managed to get 10 A* and 1 C though... Soooooo close to Oxbridge standard but so far.

Why would an academic person such as yourself take art anyway?

I've got an exam at six-thirty in the evening next Wednesday.

Seemed like a good choice at the time... I was pretty good at Art when I was in Year 9...

Oh yeah, 10 hour art exam next Thursday and Friday - Yay!

I did my entire art course within three months. I didn't even choose it as a subject. My mother's an art teachers, and hence I came out of the exam with a B. not bad for three months work. The only thing about your GCSEs, if you scre them up and it affects your life you will go ape at yourself for the stupid mistakes. Like i got a C in Drama and RE. I probably should have tried for the RE thing, and with Drama, I had an absolute idiot in my group and we only just managed to get the C.

Anyway, I got 3 A*s, 3 As, 3 Bs and 2 Cs. Looking back... I could have tried harder, but now I've got competition for these exams. my friend never turns up and can still beat me in the exams, and now he gets until january next year to do his exams, he's missed out on so much. hence, I've got to beat him.
