I play nation states 2. Don't bother. Eventually each world will stagnate and people will leave. Don't get me started on "war."

I had a nation there for a little while, but unless you join one of the Coalitions you're basically 'raider' bait. As in a much stronger nation will come along and declare war on you for no reason other than stealing tech from you. I didn't want to deal with joining any groups so I just went solo, what could go wrong right?

Needless to say, after being raided countless times and my tech and money reduced to near zero levels I scrapped my nation.

One time a guy with slightly lower tech declared war on me. His reason was something like "LOLOL RAID TRIBUTE 'X' TECH 4 PESE"

With a bit of luck, I kicked his ass. Then he somehow managed to join an alliance and four nations who were much larger than me suddenly declared war.

Yeah, after that I pretty much gave up.
