No idea how many EB team used but I have added 39 units and models,
I had to omit first cohorts cos adding another 35 units and models CTDs.
ask EB team how many EDU entry they use + 39 in my mod.

hum nice idea, i was missing named legions very much, but im using the alex engine only, with the Alex exe, it will work?? Also i will be able to play online?

I have the following questions:
1. Have you completely replaced the "basic" EB First cohorts (recruitable in Rome only) and legionaries (recruitable along all over the Empire)? Or the RS legions are just the add-on for basic EB legions? => thus the player can recruit EB legionaries all over the map, while additionally he can also recruit named RS legions in specific areas?
2. Are the RS legions compatible with EOMod (with named legions' office ancillaries etc.)?
3. After the Imperial reforms - can the "republican" legions be recruited too? (as "second generation" units?) or they will be retained as marian units without possibility to reinforce etc.?
[what I mean - after Marian reforms in regular EB there are Marian cohorts, which are completely replaced with new types of cohorts after Imperial reforms, so the old Marian units can no longer be recruited or reinforced once the barracks are upgraded to Imperial reforms level;
in Yor RS legions mod I will be able to recruit 13 republican legions as "Marian legions", but when I upgrade my barracks into Imperial reforms level, can the same legions be still recruited in Imperial barracks alongside with these brand new 22 Imperial legions? => this would require doubling these 13 legions as both Marian and Imperial unit types]
4. Have you added the "legion name" attribute to legionary cohorts or not? (I mean the attribute attached to a province that is given to legionary cohort recruited there) - if not, that would make my add-ons easier

I'm asking 'cause I've planned to add RS First Cohorts recruitable, yet without radical changes to EB legions.
Thus maybe it will be possible to change the RS legions you've made into RS First Cohorts...
In fact my plan was just to add only a few types of First cohorts, recruitable in some areas - the Lorica Segmentata FC, the Armored FC, the Eastern FC, which would leave the space for some other add-ons (I wanted to add some late-empire Roman cavalry for use for players trhat want to expand Roman Empire into Eastern Steppes...)

1. No I did not touch EB vanillas. I role play them as independent legionaire.
2.Yes, but as you know you should start a new campaign because I have changed many a file in this mod.
3. marian reforms allows you republican legion there are 13 of them. for others you should wait for emperial reform. and in short imperial reforms allows you to recruit all. I have never waited emperial reforms as you know I am not a roman fan.(cavalry maniac )
4. I did not touch minimod pack so that means you will have both my mod and konny's mod if you play on minimod pack.
because of EDU hardcode I have abandoned first cohorts only pretorians have first cohortes. I should clean at least 30 entry in EB edu but I like adding on EB nothing to clean so no first cohorts for legions. If you have alex EB itself you can mod as you like or if you have LZ3's minimod pack you can mod konny's adaptation. I have added legions names via EDU namely I have added new units.

P.S. Alex gives you more models but hardcode of EDU is still 500.
If you desire to delete some entries cas files of first cohort should be in my mod pack.
Also I can send you full EDU that includes first cohorts as well but as you see you have to clean enough entry to play them. I can advice you to delete some goelidic that was deactivated by them in EDB and ships or if you desire you can delete EB legionary entries as well.
or trivial script will keep CTD until you reduce EDU entries to 500. Moreover, you will need to mod export_units and EDB, too.

Oh, there's no problem at all - I'll just increase the AOR for EB First Cohort from Rome to the AORs of new legions - that should solve the problem of having no FCs.
BTW: on the screens from Your mod there are Eagle Bearers visible in the legionary cohorts - are theyt added into every legionary cohort or these screens come from "extended" version of Your mod, with added FCs but with some "cleaning work" done?
BTW2: how much space did Your mod left for adding anything? In fact I needed to add one or two more units, yet I did not want to remove "unused" units, as I like them and also would like to either play them or play against them...

Maybe I'll have to go back to my previous idea of having just a few types of "new" legions - "typical", "segmentata", "fully armored" and "eastern", with AOR adjusted to fit these requirements... along with FCs.
