he meant the forum search function, there's a link with the latin letters S-E-A-R-C-H. It spells the english word 'search'.
Click that, and a seach tab would appear.
As for the motor functions of controlling the hand and fingers, I'm no neurologist. thus i can be of no help.

Agreed. I was browsing though and happened to read this thread, thinking someone was in need of help.
Both parties had/have good intentions. Both wanted to help in their own individual way. As long as this is established, any disagreements can be let go. Let's not turn the forums into a battleground and keep it a friendly community.
This is perhaps a good idea to consider Bovi. Instead of pointing to the FAQ, place it in your sig. But again, just a thought.Originally Posted by Xurr

I would like to link to a bunch of useful pages, however there is a limit to the number of characters allowed in the sig, and links are rather long even if they don't display as such. I've had to choose hard among them to be able to fit what I already have into it and still have room for Hawking's great quote.

yeah, i can testify to that. rather annoying really.
perhaps if you took out the 'frequent issues' youd have enough space?

thanks the internets been down last few days and i have one comment on the reform system it takes forever i had never turned on background script so the game was broken and had to start new campaign in this campaign i had these cities conquered and very happy by 260. i am at 246 and a long protracted war with suicidal selukids has been wearing me down they attack me with armies of light infantry against my homeland stack every turn. but what do the MICs do nothings improved in my cities they can never recruit camilian units or anything close.
please argue my questions answer else wear directing me to the FAQ was good enough i do not apreciate the argument prussian iron

on second thought let us not go to Camelot tis a silly place
Regional MICs don't recruit factional units, only the regional levies. Your Camillan units are factional, so they won't be produced by them. Otherwise, I have no clue what is wrong.

Could you please drop it guys? Clearly, you Prussian Iron are wrong for telling the Moderators what they should do. But you did good and it was kind and thoughful of you to answer to him. But that doesn't mean that telling a person to look for it himself is wrong and your way is best. I'm sure if you were a moderator and saw many questions that are almost identical you'd stedily shift from writing almost identical long-posts to posting links or telling the person to look for it somewhere. Especially if, as I said, the question has been asked many times before.

The frequent issues is, with a huge margin, the thread I point people to the most. Despite it being part of my sig.
The tinyurl tip was great. I've squeezed in twice as many now.

OK, I think that it may be time for a quick tutorial here.
Using the .org forum's search function:
1.In the top bar, in black Latin letters, you will find several entries, ie. User CP, Favorites, (skipping a few items), Search. This search link will give you a drop down box in which you can type your search criteria. This particular link is useful if you wish to search the entire .org fora for something.
scroll down a bit
2.Under the small box with the "posting rules" link at the top, you will find black letters (again, the Latin alphabet in used) that read "Sub-forums". On the right side of that particular bar, you will see "Search this forum" written there, this provides a drop-down box that works just like the one that was previously described. This particular "search" is useful for searching the main and sub-fora that you are currently viewing, for information that is likely to be found in the forum you are viewing, but may possibly be hidden in a sub-forum. Especially useful when you are unfamiliar with the organizational structure of a particular group of fora.
scroll down a bit further
3. Under the box reading NEW TOPIC (bright yellow capital letters), you will find another bar populated with black letters. The entries in this bar read (from left to right) Threads in Forum, Forum tools, and Search this forum (again). This is used just like the last 2 entries that were explained. Useful for finding information specific to the exact forum you are viewing. There is also a search function available in specific threads, located in the same spot on the page as this entry. I won't explain how to use the thread search, because it works exactly the same way as the previous entries, and I prefer to think that everyone here is intelligent enough to understand these simple instructions.
This forum-specific search function is a lot more focused than the one on your browser, and doesn't involve the morass of the wider internet.
