Gynaikomos

Playing as Arche Seleukeia, I've come across a large number of family members receiving this trait.
In one turn alone, six of my family members, all in major cities, became Gynaikomoi. What causes this trait to appear and why is it so prevalent in large settlements?

Presumably, there are plenty of gyms in larger settlements.

That, or just plain luck.

That could be it, but a gynaikomos is presumably a supervisor of womens' gyms, so why isn't a trait for the supervisor of normal gyms showing up?

Perhaps because watching naked women is more pleasing than watching naked men?

Why is it perverted for presumably straigth men to watch naked or scantily clad women?

Anyway, supervisor of gymnastics and athletic games sounds like a ceremonially significant and honorary title to me. There were loads of such in antiquity. In fact there still is... I am in no way an expert of Hellenes, but could it not be such; an empty honorific?

This is Greece, there's no points for watching naked men - only points for not watching naked men.

Remember, many competitions and ever the Olympics were played naked for the most part. I think Romans were even annoyed by the fact that Greeks always fought naked at their games.
