    Join the club. I've never sat a driving test let alone passed one - and don't really care to be honest as I can get the train everywhere living here. My instructors needed a double whisky and a lie down after an hour out on the road with kamikaze caravel.

    I blame the brits. The sales manager at work has a kid and can't drive a car.



    I have to drive him home a few times a week.

    It's understandable though, look how small the country is. Half a day's walk and you can get from London to Edinburgh. In Australia you couldn't live without a car. It's also a bit of a comming of age thing, you're not really a man until you've gotten your first car.
