Mine are central too. They appear to change colors, between green and blue, depending on what I'm wearing, etc. I didn't know it was rare, mostly they just look kind of gray.

I have brown eyes.

Mine are hard to desribe but I think I have central heterochromia(for some reason when I read that I keep reading haematoma). My eyes are a grey/green colour on the outside with brown in the centre. Then I have a thin ring between those which is more prominent in my left eye and is made up of little diamond shaped segments that is kind of an olive green, and then there is a very thin whitish line between the olive green middle ring and the grey/green outer ring.
I've always just thought that I had hazel eyes.
