    Default Perfect Game

White Sox pitcher Mark Buehrle threw a perfect game! Despite supposedly not a hard enough thrower, he did what's been done only 18 times in history, and threw his second no-hitter in three years.

Very nice. I was watching the final three outs on ESPN's GameCast. Buehrle owes his centerfielder several drinks after what he did with one down in the ninth.

People in Boston can't spell. No ones corrected them because we find it funny.

Is the colour of your socks an important factor in baseball?

Indeed. The power of the colored sock is why the Red Sox have won two world series lately (though that required a few years of preparation since they won before that).

And it's why everyone hates the Yankees; they don't have the appropriate socks for their climate.

It's alright though.. I'm a diehard Seattle Mariners fan and to my knowledge they have never even been to the World Series.

As for the Mariners - well duh! The color scheme of their socks is simply no good for the playoffs.
